I remember playing this computer as a kid at my dads office. Probably my first memory of playing a video/pc game 🙂 I remember the Atari as well but I think I was on the Mac first.
If anyone is reading this, please help me. I used to play an old game on a macintosh I don't remember the model name of. It was a grocery store game. It was black and white, items would come down the conveyor belt, the customers eyes would follow the items going down the belt (I'm pretty sure) This was a huge part of my childhood that I need to get back, so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me. You will be heavily thanked!
I totally forgot about shuffle puck cafe. OMG, it is great to see it again, I can't believe how much came back to me, the woman's powers, the face in the reapers clothes. Thanks for posting.
There was a technique to get Biff every time which I figured out - it was basically always swinging your puck as fast as you can from bottom left to top right in a rhythm that matches Biff's - because he always slam dunks you he can actually be very predictable in terms of timing so you just need to cover as much of your field as possible to cover his random directions. Then, after a rally of 3 to 5 hits he would eventually miss your hit.
YES!! I miss our old Mac Plus 512K! We had Arkanoid, and Pinball Construction Set, among others. Awesome graphics and sound! It used the same microprocessor as the Sega Genesis.
I've played Grand Prix Circuit on an old IBM 386 PC under MS-DOS the DOS version used the computer's internal PC Speaker, the computer didn't even have a sound card, and I don't know if the game even supported a sound card, so you can well imagine what the game sounded like. Do any of you remember Mouse Practice for the mac? it's a shame it's not still included with newer Macintosh models.
You missed a golden opportunity to get flashed by the girl-- win the game, you get to see them as long as you want... lose and she still shows them but just for a second.
Indeed, Im 32 now and i remember shuffleuck so well but i don't remember my age when i played it but it was like you was when you payed it.. OMG this is some heavy memories..
people anyone know where could i get haunted mansioon by magic hat software? such an awesome game from the late 80s to the 90s it was almost sketchesm still it was awesome from magic hat software...was once downloadable...lost now..
Does anybody remember what the football game was for Mac? It had all the nfl teams and you could choose run or pass plays or special teams plays and it showed a football and a field and the ball would go up and down the field depending on what was happening?
does anybody remember vette! or glider. thoese were great games. i played them when i was like 5 yrs old. i still have a lot of old mac games on cds or disketes. does anyone know how i can play them on windows? oh and is there any site i can upload those old games so that everyone can enjoy them??
What was the writing program studio on the old Mac classic 2 in 1992? It had a writing program and it had a strange long nosed character. The one came with sound effects, too. Does anyone know what that old writing program was called?
I suggest you take a look at what Microsoft had available at the time. MS machines were either MS-DOS or Windows 3.1. Mac had a functional desktop that's fundamentally similar to their modern layout. Microsoft was struggling to give graphics native OS support.
I once played some kind of Wild West Game on my dads mac. You had to walk around a small town, with a doctor, a bank, gunsmith and so on. Sometime you would ecounter a bandito. If you was fast enough on clicking on his gun, you could arrest him or, if not, shoot him. At some point in this game some kind of "biss enemy" arrived by train. I was never able to beat him, cause my gun was too slow. Does anyone know this game aaaaand maybe also it's name?
@slomacuser You should have slowed the thing down, especially for Shufflepuck Cafe. Shufflepuck/Air Hockey (without the Cafe) are even worse, especially when played on a faster emulator or a 266MHz G3 running in Os9...
i can just barely remember playing shuffle puck ...a long time ago on my gs ... i would always make the paddle size 100 and the big guy would say wimp if you lost ... am i right??? now this is really far back b/b i am 15 right now and i think it was a gs i don't really know wolfenstien 3d was also fun ... die nazi's die haha ... i think that now i was 4-5 back then
Postao je YU sistem od verzije 3.2 do 6.0.7 nakon toga HR od 7 do 9, ovaj na snimci je SLO 7.5 jedina verzija, u SLO jeziku a i ta nije bila službeno privačena sa strane Apple-a
Actually I think it was better Mac than Pc in that time. Today Mac is just for people that think spending 500$ extra in a computer to use word, powerpoint and excel is cool and creative.

thanks for sharing. I have a few of these old games on a vintage Mac. Still love to play them.

Why on earth did you choose to play Biff on Shuffle Puck? That guy was impossible.

Games that seemed to come from one mind, like Shuttlepuck stood out.

McLaren at that time, 0 to 100Km, 4.5s. Just like Genesis g70 in 2019.
Grand Prix was surprisingly responsive.
Looks very similar to test drive
