A new Dirt Perfect on Christmas morning! It can’t get any better than that.
I pleasant suprise!
instablaster.
I built my 2200 sq ft rancher here in Alberta, Canada in 2003 with the then Scott ICF system. I did the basement and the main floor walls.19 feet of vertical wall. Best decision I ever made. I inadvertently doubled my re-bar install, but steel was cheap back then and it couldn't hurt. My engineer said I could add 2 more floors whenever.
I ignored the naysayers and am glad I did. Never lived in a warmer, (-40F), cooler, stronger, more wind proof, dryer, more comfortable home. As for attaching things to the plastic inserts, never a problem, unbelievably strong. Will do it again soon. You are doing it all right, but don't stop at just basements.
You, MBTS and Matt make a great team. It only get's better when Capt.K is there !!!
Merry Christmas Dirt Perfect Family and Friends! Always good to see Aaron - The Man Behind the Scene.
Merry Christmas to you and everyone in DP , it’s good to see MBTS again to spice things up a bit 😁
It's amazing how you all have altered since that job. It is NYE02024 watching the fireworks on Sydney Harbour.
MBS it’s a Christmas Miracle. Merry Christmas to you and the whole gang.
Ran a concrete pump since 1971 retired 2004 used to pour that type of walls used a 3 inch hose worked perfect nice flow less splatter
That’s what on the end of this truck
It's a fancy footer for sure.
I would like to see more structures build this way in the tornado valley and the hurricane zone for sure. With solid floors in between them walls and capped off with reinforced concrete plates for attic floor.
Merry Christmas Mike and family. Jeez a concrete pumper that has to be one expensive basement. Good to see Man behind the scenes.
Pump trucks are relatively inexpensive if used efficiently.
Yes it lowers the price actually not for sure where you got your information 🤷♂️
Merry Christmas everyone. You could use empty Pepsi cans or bottles to cover up the sharp edges on the braces. Nice to have everyone back.
Dead on point with business relationships! Loyalty is key and a 2 way street! You do a good job with your ICFs. I am a licensed contractor and a licensed inspector. One of our smaller towns uses me as their city inspector. I used to travel the US doing commercial buildings and loved seeing different techniques across the country and making my company's projects better for it. You tube is really a faster way now for people to share those techniques. Enjoyed the video - thanks. Merry Christmas!
Thanks
A fantastic job and that set up for forms is great beats the hell out of the old school wooden forms with the snap ties and double headed nail toghter panels and stakes and braces.
Add Rubber Caps on the Top of the Supports so they don't snag on everything
When you guys were aligning the wall, MBTS was pretty good with the eyecrometer. The Plumwall braces make the job look so much easier.
Nice to see man behind the scenes in the scenes again. That’s no Joke!
I was kinda thinking the same thing but didn't want to say anything.
Great group of guys with good spirits, it's never a dull moment.
Great to have MBS back! Braces are really nice and great job guys.
I like the narration about what is going on and the comradery.
Thanks
Great to see the man behind the scene back on the channel. Merry Christmas!!
Great work Mike and crew. Nice to see MBTS again!
Awesome shot on video from the pump boom! Also Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
The legend the mith man behind the sences, nice to see him back
Good to see MBTS back seem like video quality up about 650/0 lol love you guys
Customer service is key.
Keep your customer happy. ;-)
I agree
Merry Christmas Dirt team and families.
Merry Christmas to you Mike, the crew and all your families 🎄
Thanks
Great video. Suggestion: crowning the top portion of the brace with 6-inch pieces of pre-made PVC pipe & a cap.
👍
Exactly what I was thinking but the guy with the beer coozy idea maybe on something too.
If I had a project I'd definitely call Dirt perfect for the job, this team right here is the kind of guys I'd just say Make it so and could relax and Know it would be right. I don't know of any guys here in Oregon that I could say that about. Keep it up guys and have a great holiday and a profitable 2021.
Thanks Dave
Great job by all. That pump operator was pretty smooth.
Thanks buddy and merry Christmas
DP, I think if you bought some rubber beer coozies and stuck them on the top of the brace you would solve your armpit tearing problem... Merry Christmas
Mike those bracing look as though they are going to be a great addition to your equipment list. There is some time saving to be had once you have done a few houses and the crew get on the same page nice bit of kit.
Merry Christmas to the Dirt Perfect crew.
Nice to see MBTS again. Merry Christmas
plulmwall should make a plastic cap for the top of the vertical brace to protect the sharp edges
Very nice system and again also nice video Mike, Merry Christmas to you and the whole crew.
Thanks Henry
Plastidip the ends on them uprights. To most folks, seeing the "WRATH OF SIMON" at the start of this video wouldn't seem so meaningful. But I felt the heat and smelled the salt, GOOD JOB Mr. DP. Advertising lower base price and cranking in 30% "fees", is piss poor cut throat business practice. Buyer Beware! The production of this video was superb, professional and maybe one of your top ten ... thank goodness Aarons back. LOL
Lol yup and thanks
A great explanation of why those guys are a Number Two kind of company. We have several of those around here. While construction is booming around here, which is good no doubt, it does let these guys think they have you over a barrel. But folks have a long memory. It won’t always be like this. A year ago the airlines were saying they’d never lose money again and were adding every fee they could think of and cutting every service they couldn’t charge extra for. Now they are sending me an email every week begging me to come back and telling me of the fees that they have removed. But even my old mind can remember only a year ago. I bet you can too.
Yup I agree
Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the boys on site. You do a great job of entraining the likes of myself and a lot of people all around the world. Thank you.
Thanks appreciate that
Great to see MBTS back again, great team , merry Christmas.
Wasn't expecting a video on December 25th; a big surprise, and a great video, toop; the icing on the cake? Aaron is back to keep things running smoothly. A very merry Christmas to all the Dirt Perfect team and family. Please keep the videos coming; not much fun at the moment in locked down England. We need all of the entertainment we can get.Thank you so much, guys.
Thanks buddy
Merry Christmas to your whole crew Mr Dirt Perfect,And also to your great wife and kids
Merry Christmas Mike and your fine crew you might sugest to plumwall they put a plastic cap on the top of the uprights
should be pretty standard cap out there some where
👍Looks like you need a 30 inch extension to drive that adjusting socket and a cheap, off brand, slower speed drill. Looks like a sturdy system overall. Thanks for the vid.
Team work makes the dream work
Merry Christmas everyone and God bless.
Another nice old Mack truck still earning its keep.
Yup
Hey great to see mbs back videos aren,t the same without him
For those vertical pieces. I would say they should have plastic caps for them. God bless
We need more Erin! :)
Man behind the scene is back. The real reason we watch lol Merry Christmas
Lol
It’s Christmas morning! Wooooooo!
😁
Welcome back man behind the scenes, if only for 2 days
I'm a concrete pumper great job pump man
Don’t know how you made it lately without Aaron, his tall stature looms over the job site.😂😂😂😳😳
Glad to see MBTS back on the job. Merry Christmas.... also, just a thought.... if you filled those forms with empty Pepsi cans it could save a couple yards and strengthen those walls :)
I work at a rental store and we are a stand alone store. Bomag decided we weren't buying enough Bomag products so they said we would have to pay straight up and not be able to charge to an account. Our owner got somewhat pizzed off and called up and spoke to a bean counter...... Its amazing what happens when you talk to the right person and air out things.... We are charging for stuff again. We werent the only ones who called................................................
Crazy
One idea, you know those plastic caps for like 2 inch square stock that slide on in with a mallet that gives it a finished burr free end cap.... See if you can find them for for your dimension brace stock. Could be a relatively cheap and quick fix instead of grinding off the galvanization to deburr.
Santa gave me a gift for Christmas a new DP Vidio.
😁
merry Christmas all of you !!
Merry Christmas to the best crew available! Kevin
Thanks
The new braces work good from my view!!!!!!!!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS DP& crew & family!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Toney
Guest appearance by Aaron, guest camera spot on the pump boom, premiere of the Plumwall braces in use..... what a day!!!!
And only slightly spoiled by the concrete supplier, they will probably add another fee for seeing their concrete on video!!!
When you get the right crew, any job runs smoothly, thankfully you have the right crew !!!!
Merry Christmas. Maybe just a plastic cap for the tops of the post? Could be removed when needed and cheap and simple to install.
Merry Christmas Dirt Perfect and crew! I love watching your videos! I hope that y’all have a wonderful day with your families. Stay Strong, Stay Safe, and always Stay Positive!
Thanks buddy
need caps on the tops of the braces. love the vids and merry christmas!!!!!!!
Thanks joe
Merry Christmas DP & MBTS great too see you back you have both made my Christmas ❤️
Thanks
The narrowmindedness of big corporations. They come in, buy up the small companies, and then the whole ballgame changes. Saw this firsthand with Waste Management back when the trash hauling industry went through a major consolidation 15-20 years ago. I used IMI on a one-off home build 27 years ago. They were recommended to me by a fellow with a lot of contracting experience who was helping me out. They did fine for us; worked well with the contractors that did all my concrete work. All these years later I hate hearing the experience you had with them.
Thanks bob
Great job all of you! Being an old concrete man I really enjoyed this video! You have a great team helping you DP, even if one is a part timer! lol Merry Christmas to you all!!!
Thanks Rodger
Merry Christmas ⛄🌲🎄⛄
I see why it’s so important to be able to move those pic boards up and down easily on the new supports.....you never know what size guy will be filling 😂......luv ya MBTS 👍
Merry Christmas and Good Jul to you all, from Sweden.
Merry Christmas buddy thanks for everything you do my friend I agree with you 💯 on that concrete company I’ve had some run ins with them myself I won’t use them but I’m not a contractor that needs lots of stuff companies shouldn’t be that way
Nice .. Merry Christmas too all
You need to get your safety officer involved with the sharp edges on your bracing system. Christmas morning coffee with Mr Dirt Perfect and the gang, don’t get any better then that, tells you what’s going on in my life. Always great videos Thanks stay safe
Use some plywood screwed to a short piece of 2x as caps for the braces.
They have to be made up beforehand. (the 2x would fit inside the brace, and the ply on top.)
all the braces like that i have seen here in Canada sharp edge or not they have a rubber cap on top that can me popped off if need be, with out them everything snages on them.. the caps are just the same thing you find on any boat trailer, lawn chairs made using tubing that pop into the center
I think plumwall should make you some custom DP plastic caps for those braces. Also provide you a new plumwall shirt since yours was ripped. Great product though.
Love that system
You could save all your 2 litre/quart milk containers to put over the uprights and save your arms.. Looks a neat system though. A few more boards on the walkways would probably make it more comfortable for pouring and jacking.
Merry Christmas ⛄⛄⛄🎄🎄🎄🎄
IMI southern Indiana offices defiantly seem to have their share of issues everytime I’ve ordered from them as well. The central and northern plants have it together better
Sad but true
Best Christmas gift so far, thanks. Merry Christmas
Lol 👍
Put a couple of extensions on your drill and you can easily adjust the braces from the catwalk. 💡
Merry Christmas to you and your family and a happy new year. Keep the videos coming I enjoy watching them
Thanks
merry christmas to the whole gang
Thanks
Your videos are always entertaining and at the same time you teach and share with input that informs
Thanks for another great video
Merry Christmas to you and your family and all your crew and their families
Bruce from Mason Michigan
Thanks appreciate that
By moving the Walk boards up , AAron the hoser won't get so much splatter on his face.
Mary Christmas to you and your family have a safe new year
Thanks
Finally Canada makes something that works.
Lol
Thanks for posting. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2021.
Thanks
Merry Christmas 2 u and ur family Mick
Jeez you figured the amount of concrete pretty close.
Such a big basement, 1 window and no door, that will not be a good space for anything but storage.
I am shocked though DP.
November 5th film day and it's uploaded on December 25th? Did you run out of vids? This isn't even 2 months after filming.
Thanks for the Christmas present of a Video at 4 am Christmas morning.
I had a batch plant company they would only say COD only so I gave the driver $3000 in cash from now on I had credit had 30 day acc . amazing how that works
merry christmas to you and your family mike
Thanks
Im In here early again.
You ain't wrong about IMI.
Lol thanks
Merry Xmas to all and lets pour :) Thanks for the heads up on that concrete Company. Have a safe and super 2021 New Year
👍
Job well done dp. That thing is straighter than any stacked basement or foundation I've ever built off of. I'm really digging this icf stuff. Merry Christmas to you and the family. Mbts damn good to see ya boy, make dp but the handrail set up to go along with the new braces, Osha approved 🤣
Thanks Andy
You need a Yankum rope Dirt Perfect Towing and Recovery special edition in blue. Plumwall should supply some caps for those forms.
Lol I agree thanks
