Post surgery was awful for me . Took a day for shoulder pain to go and stomach was doing somersaults though I couldn’t sht for 6 days . Now , 6 moths on I’m very happy . No more bladder infections , catheters . Pss like a stallion and continence returning. PSA zero.
13 Nov. and I'm two days out of a radical prostatectomy surgery. I'm 69 and spent 1 day in hospital. Northampton General, totally recommended. I live in the Birmingham Hospitals area but arrangements exist with Northampton when surgery is wanted quickly. I'd gone from Gleeson 4 to 7 and that's not good but at least not 8-9. Post-op I had no bad shoulder pain and I've only felt uncomfortable as the operation pain killers wear off. I only had five incisions, no pain, a couple of doses of postoperative Oramorph and I've been ok. Rather beaten up, windy and tired, but that's it. Good luck to all on this medical journey and particular thanks for posting this video. It's a great reassurance.
Oh, the gas hurts. I'm 1 month out of surgery and just got my catheter out after 28 days in. What a relief. Leakage is annoying but dealing with it. Al the videos were a great help. God Bless you Brother.
My surgery was peanuts, but the longlasting side effects are worse. Often I think, it would have been better that the surgery was worse and the rest peanuts..
You made a terrible mistake. You should have done seed implantation with radiation. You would have kept your prostate, your penis would not of been shortened, no urinary incontinence, no erectile dysfunction. I have several friends had the same surgery, they regret it . They have urinary incontinence, penis was shrunk to nothing because with the prostate removal the urethra had to be cut and removed. The penis is attached to the urethra. No erections . A total disaster.
You are so wrong the seeding will cause a cancer somewhere else in the body it can also cause ED and incontinence, the penis is only a fraction smaller if at all with surgery. I would rather be living and potentially cancer free.
Well done Alex! Very proud of you! You Doing really well and stay positive. Take some time off for full recovery. Everyone is behind you. ❤😊

Get rid of the background music. It's very annoying, and I can barely hear what you're saying.
Butchery.....NEVER!!!!
