It’s not out of rudeness, but the male players are stronger and can generally hit harder with more concistancy and accuracy so anytime they can get their hands on the ball, it is advantageous
@@willgardner8142 Most people in the community are very friendly and helpful. Some though, seem ultra competitive and eager to make me look like an idiot for being out of position. Overall it's a great way to spend your time, IMO.

@@larry0606 good catch! However, I know from experience that it is MUCH more difficult to catch a foot fault during gameplay than it is on video. I had to re-watch the video a few times before I could see this one. Lol
Pickleball is a fun game. Tennis takes too long to get good at and is just too physically demanding. I've found that anyone who has some time can get decently good at pickleball even if they don't have any background in sports, even if they're not particularly athletic or if they're on the older side.
Yeah I play tennis and I love just playing pickleball for fun. I definitely get what your saying though. Tennis takes years to get down just the basics.

How many sit vacant and unused 95% of the time. How many new pickleball courts are being built or tennis courts repurposed? While it is true people off the street who've never played any racquet sport can start hitting a pickleball back and forth over the net, true mastery and the ability to play the way these people play takes hours of practice and drilling...just like tennis.

I know plenty of people who play both. I cant cuz I'm on two artificial knees at 47 and tennis is out of the equation for me.
So then what has ping pong been all these decades...? The very “destitution of tennis”? Pickle ball is a great endeavor for active seniors, and actually for folks or any age.
