One minor detail though, if this brake pad wear warning system is the same as it is on a 955 Cayenne (probably is), then it's actually the rotor wearing through the wire and breaking it that BREAKS the circuit to turn on the warning light. The circuit is one complete circuit that runs continuously through all of the corners of the car, so if one pad has enough wear to break the wire, the circuit is no longer complete, and the light comes on. I hate to sound pedantic, but for me this was an important point when I was dealing with mine, so just in case it matters to someone else...
