That Pathos beast is not for me to be sure, but it is a looker. Kat, I thought you had already gone. I miss you already. Are you going to do a "goodbye" or "send off" video? Kevin, maybe you can do a special thing where folks can write in to Kat or something to show support and such in her new adventure and then read some of them on tape or something?
Pathos really is in a class of it's own. Any company could just grab the most expensive components in the world and throw them together for a million bucks, but to insist on the RIGHT components, obsess over every minute detail of design and construction, and still end up with something reasonably priced (within the context of ultra-hi-fi at least, $50k is of course still a nice used car or three) is something that very few manufacturers are willing or able to tackle.
I live in Sweden Kevin, I love your channel, for 20 years ago I did Msc EE , one of my friend he bought different amplifier from Japanese company , Different brand , he call me one day and we listen to these Japanese gear , he told then that it's not sound good then we buy more expensive Japanese and still no good sound, One day he call me told that he bought Pathos, come to me and listen, I went to him and listen to it , it blow my mind and it is still do. We open bought Japanese and this Italian. Japanese full of semiconductor, and pathos very simple, he ask me then why the sound so different solid amplifier Japanese with all of that parts and this Italian so musical. Now 30 years later with Msc. EE still puzzled by its sound. I was in Germany high end audio, and most of the room sound bad , BUT Pathos, so musical 😮😮
Kat, my goodness, you are absolutely the best representation of an Audiophile❣️🎶 it may not be surprising that you'd be amped up for something in your field of expertise, but nevertheless, you epitomize the joy that Audiophiles have for this pursuit. Thank you being how you've been and continue to be😌
Kat rowed crew in another life? I'd like to hear more about that than this amp - who she rowed for and the training involved. Years ago, I read David Halberstam's "The Amateurs," a book about college crewmen and the dedication they poured into their sport.
Cars which are produced in Italy are bad news but Italian Hifi is a different story 🎉❤👍 The cooling metal on the side are amazing 😍 If you would build them in a strait angle the sound breaks down extremely.
I found the original one to be the most unreliable amplifier ever . Mine's stuck in the spare room waiting to be sent off for repair for the 5th time in as many years mine must have been made on Friday afternoon 🤔
its not a 50 k amp but that what thay charge and one would be hard press to tell the difference ..that said its will be atractive heavy and Large fill the dealers pocket, rich dummys amp

Kat doesn't wear jewelry, she listens to it!
Nice Alfa Romeo! One of the fastest sedans in the world.

That's a real integrated amp right there, wow drop dead beautiful..
Wow. Such a work of art. Speechless…. Can’t wait for the full review and a look under the hood of this beauty.
Pathos (passion) is the name of this superb construction and it certainly matches the passion of the people who present it. Great job, guys.
155 am here, but I can't sleep if one of your vids pops up. Keep em coming guys.. Regards Antony Warrington, England..
I heard Kat is leaving to work at SME. Happy for her, but big loss for Upscale. I figured she’d be there for the long haul.
That is incredible. The time, engineering and design is such first rate quality. Amazing to see. ❤
It sounds just as beautiful as it looks.
Kevin and Kat excellent video! That is one Beautiful machine. Those heat sink fins totally rock!

Kat, please dont leave... :(
Too late she's gone. Went to SME. Weird that they have been so quiet about it. Would think a good bye video or something along those lines...

I would have thought she would be too short for crew.
« Tubes » plate is so cool !
Hank Mobley, "No Room For Squares" - very cool. 😎

"a few humans.... Stacked..."..???? What an awesome unit of measure. Second only in awesomeness to a "barrel of monkeys".
Can't afford it or lift it, but still intrigued.
Those heat sinks are SICK!
That would be cool to see a video tour of Kevin’s hifi
looking good sounds like a dream
Cool that it comes with an amp casket.
Stunningly beautiful.
🫵🏼That’s what I’m talkin’ about‼️ Stunning work of art.
Will you folks come help install this thing ? I can't lift 309 pounds me self! I used to could when I played college football over 20 years ago!
Oh yes, they will. Call and ask for Chris. He is the lead sales guy. He owns Pathos.
Who needs Pathos when we already have Kat! Thank you!
sound demo and review please! ❤
It still says “look at me” even after they opened it.
Beautiful

Yidaki in Arnhem Land. Xavier Rudd plays it well. Have a listen on that beast😊
A high-gloss black rack with red castor wheels, instead of one showed....would be perfect....!
