Too bad Rough Country doesn’t call out the F250 they are using has their axle block spacers WITHOUT the factory “perch” that the stock bump stop would contact (made part of the factory axle block). When installing the kit I had to call several times to get someone who understood this. They then said to just install the bracket from the kit on top of the perch that is made part of the stock axle block…the instructions do not call this out. Furthermore, the two piece lower bracket assembly mounting position has to be adjusted to compensate for the bracket sitting on the perch, which again, is not called out in the instructions. The bracket assembly does not sit proper on the perch so now I have to go buy axle blocks without the factory perch to get the brackets to sit proper on the axle. Pretty disappointing that Rough Country doesn’t call this out in the instructions, nor mention they are installing the kit on a truck without stock axle blocks. 👎

Mine didn’t have this issue at all with the perches. 3” factory block with perch it sat right on and snugged right up

So my F250 has the extra springs in back so therefore the block stop or perch is directly in the way. I needed help and they do not know or understand what I am talking about.

What did you end up doing to solve this? My truck has a BDS lift and the blocks from my kit have perches in the way. I’m thinking about cutting the perches off or just mounting the cradle to the perch.

@@kylebradley5954 Did you ever figure it out, I have the same issue my bds lift blocks have the perch sticking out and im not sure what to do, do i cut them off?

@@DiscordCriminal No don’t cut them off. Having the perch actually made this install much easier!!
I ended up drilling a hole in the perch so I could bolt the cradle to it directly, without using any of the brackets or loosening the U bolts or anything. The key is installing the bag at the top and making sure you put the cradle in the right spot centered under the bag.

Are the bags T'd off together for the air supply? Or do they connect individually to the compressor?? Asking because there's talk about body roll when T'd off together, just wanted some insight...

theres definitely body roll if you "T" them up!

Installed mine today. Went great I will say this wouldve been way better to just utilize the bolts that were already there for the bump stop. It’s very tricky to use the supplied hardware. Takes some finesse to get it to line up. Also trying to move one of the nut clips and it popped off and is no somewhere inside my frame rail. I ended up using the factory bump stop bolt. I do see why not to do that as the bolt can puncture the air bag but I put the nut on then used a cut off tool to cut the extra length off the bolt and it’s just fine. Definitely could look into something different there

I advise anyone who is looking at this kit, to look elsewhere. A lot of steps are left out of the instructions. My truck is a 2022 F350 Fx4 with factory 2" leaf spring spacers in the back. They are not ordinary rectangular blocks that are shown in this video, they have a piece off the side where the factory yellow bump stop block hits. That being said, the lower bracket will not sit flush against the side of the leaf spring blocks; due to it being angled. Specifically on the driver side, in front of the axle the emergency brake line bracket is in the way of the carriage bolt, so you will have to try and retrofit something in there to secure your emergency brake line - again no where in the directions does it say this. Moving to the rear side of the axle on the driver side, the bracket for the brake lines and hoses is in the way and you have to remove it/modify it - again no where in the directions does it say this. When I had everything installed, the rigid brake line was rubbing on the carriage bolts.
    That is the first issue.
The second issue is that the 90 degree elbows leak, no where does it say to apply teflon tape to them. So once you get everything together, you get to take everything apart! No where in the directions or this video provided by Rough Country themselves, does it say to apply teflon tape.
The third issue, is dealing with the air compressor/wireless control. The directions are very vague. I myself, feel that I am pretty mechanically inclined, and I had the hardest time installing this. The wiring harness is X amount of feet long, the least they can do is tell you with instructions where to install the compressor- they don't, basically it is figure it out yourself. Oh! and the fuses! The fuse taps they provided were wrong. They do not fit the factory fuses that came with my 2022 Ford F350. So that was another trip to the store to find a fuse tap that worked.
For a kit that is supposed to be "easy to install" and be a direct fit for a 2022 F350, it was not even close. I ended up taking it all back apart, packaging it up, and sending it back for a full refund.
I caution anyone looking at this kit, go with something else. I replaced this with a Air Lift kit and it is so much easier to install and more beefy than this one.

You are 100% correct. I returned mine for the same reasons. Instructions are ridiculous and customer service is terrible. Anyone considering RC has been warned. Do not buy!
