Wonderful defense by Kramnik. To all people who think it was a winning endgame for Carlsen, I say they are wrong. The position at 9:20 is a theoretical draw, as the tablebases confirm. Obviously, it's not easy for black to find the correct defense, but Kramnik choosed perfect moves. Beautiful game.
+MarcoMate87 i think at 10:10 wit Re8 instead of Re7 white wins..this position occurred between Aronian-Carlsen in the WBC2015 too..u just have to be aware so black doesnt captured the g5 pawn with check
+matei379 After Re8 of white, would follow Rb4+ of black. White king can't leave the defense of the g5 pawn and it's still a draw. There are sites with free tablebases to consult, if there are 6 or less pieces on the board they give a perfect result, in this case they give a draw. Obviously, draw is intended if both players play perfect moves.
+MarcoMate87 No, they're not wrong. It was a clear and known winning position: two pawns diagonally in line (you take one, and the other crowns). The draw was just because of time.
2:42- LOL i was washing dishes while watching this, and glanced over at 2:40, and thought the hand that popped up was his LOL! had to re-watch like....wait what?
The Commentators have horrible Speech Impediments. I couldn't understand anything they said. There Speech impediments are so bad they sound like they are speaking Russian.

I thought magnus set up his game really well. I think he lost focus towards the end and didnt have an endgame planned. He should have won that. He had some nice pins
9:07 if magnus moves the pawn that was near the king forward, he already won because Vladimir couldn't eat it because the tower was there and then magnus traded the pawn for the lady and won
Instead of Qxb2 black should have played Rf5 ..if carlsen takes took then snatch his rook and it is forced to capture the black rook..if white gives check block with the same rook and then white should go behind the pawn to save rook and now black will take the pawn..as white's rook is pin
Why would you ever pan away from Carlsen-Kramnik to show some random people looking at the game

I was thinking the same thing lmao
Maybe they know something we don't. Maybe he's the next prodigy.
Okk
It's a bizarre habit that plagues nearly every video recording of a blitz game on UA-cam.
Kramnik-Carlsen games are so fun. Similar styles, and very competitive because they love to beat each other. Awesome
this angle is great

Kramnik is also very good in endgame, he beat Kasparov twice in endgame, but Magnus is superb.

What an insane self-pin by kramnik there . surrounded his king with carlsen's pawns . GG
Very impressive defense by Kramnik. I was ready to close the video when the pin happened. Happy I stayed :D
that's one fantastic end game
Could u explain to me why they end the game ? I'm new at Chess so i didn't understand 😊
@@mohammedtati9534 remis
@@mohammedtati9534 it would have ended in either a tie or a stalemate, so they just accepted the draw
As you can see GM's also struggle to come up with good tactics in end game, especially in blitz.

Magnus could have been defeated by time. Very professional for Kramnik to accept a draw.
Well there is two types of people, one who played for the sportmanship and enjoyment and the other for the titles and glory

This position at the end of the game seems similar to the position in the tie break game 1 match for the 2018 world championship against Fabiano.
Who win?
08:56 ...... Rh2 is draw right?.... kramnik was in "dhoni" mode i guess....Taking the match to the last over and making it tense...😂😂
Молодец, Владимир Крамник👍!
I've not understood, if it is draw or Kramnik failed?
