After a "Swelly" ferry crossing 😆
It was time to pick up some supplies and head off to the campsite. We tend to book one for the first night of a trip. just till we get the lie of the land.
However, we hadn't expected our first night to turn out like this one!

Thanks. Not at all pleasant. The walk in the fresh air was good as you say, but I was pretty knackered by the time we got back. It was short-lived, thankfully🙂🐕🚙

We are just back from the Islands. Absolutely gorgeous they were.

I would advise people not to make the same mistake i did when doing this journey! Having time to spare beforehand I decided to treat myself to a full breakfast in one of the local cafes before embarking. Oh my word!! I was pretty green by the time I arrived.

It was pretty rough, but as you say, despite being exhausted, the walk on that beach lifted our spirits 😊🐕🚙
Lovely place when the sun shines. That looked a very nice ferry you crossed on, with a special dog lounge. Hope you've recovered from your first night and you haven't had a reoccurrence since.
Definitely. That ferry was a cut above all the ferries we've been on. There were several dog areas dotted around with the same seating as everywhere else. The return ferry later in the trip ...well...🙂🐕🚙

I'm picking up my berlingo micro camper on Wednesday 29th may it's a convertion by Air valley campers in Keighley. It has a pop top so I can stand up and get dressed and have a stretch lol. 😆 Bernie has a large scar right across his forearm that happened when he fell on a saw at 3 years old. It's always been to ours and now the grandkids, where he fought off a crocodile in the Amazon lol.
