Its always good to have family time to help rejuvenate the soul. Kids grow up way too fast, enjoy them with you can. If that means dragging a/c and starlink along every so often then I’m all for it.

** on a really hot day the zero breeze will not do much to cool a RTT. You would have a better chance having the unit inside the tent with the intake/exhaust hoses on the outside.. in 35c+ weather I found that a good hack would be to put the cooling hose underneath your bedding sheet or light blanket and create a air tent underneath it. Did this in osoyoos last week and it was actualy too cold !
Yeah it never got cold, like an air conditioned room, I found it just cooled it down slightly and made it tolerable to be in the tent. But for the amount of time it lasts, I'm not sure it's worth bringing.

I am lucky in the fact that my wife comes out with me quite often on my runs, and when I am rock crawling, she will drive the Wrangler and I will drive the Gladiator to the location, so I can set up camp, and take the JL out on the trails.

That area used to be really tricky to get into…. We actually took 25 NEW Range Rovers into that location with the BC Rover Landers club. Pretty special place!

The reason I like Overlanding today is because my dad took our family out on camping trips into the middle of nowhere starting when I was a little kid in the late 1960's. There was a whole lot more nowhere to explore back then......He was kind of like Chevy Chase, no 4WD, just load all of us in his Olds sedan and go. A paper AAA road map. We only had three channels on TV back then....

If you are streaming to save battery just get a cheap firestick and plug into the HDMI plug. Will conserve battery by using way less power than a laptop.
Does a fire stick work without being on a network though?
It would work on the Starlink but not with stored content.
Amazing video as always! Ya know, I never bought the WeBoost for the fact that I can use Wi-Fi calling should internet be available. 2 birds with one stone. So I'm thinking of a hotspot device, especially since Elon/Starlink announced their partnership with with T-Mobile. What are your thoughts?
