3rd bestelling EV in nr 1 EV market Norway! Finally this BZ4X has become a good EV with recent updates. It was tested against the Audi Etron q4 and VW's ID 4 recently in the Netherlands (source: Autovisie and Autoweek). The BZ4x was far more efficient, better warranty, better ride and far less expensive...... more comfortable as well. The range was 450km ....not bad at all. The EV motors as efficient as the class leading Tesla Model Y.
Really 3njoying my Bz4x xle on 18" wheels in winter im getting 330 to 340kms on a charge and with heating of ot shows 400kms so i am happy with the range
I saw the bZ4X at my nearest Toyota showroom last year. It didn't seem to get much attention at the time, as in the UK, we are still far from having enough charging points in order to make you feel safe that you'll he able to charge when you need to. You really need to plan any trip in the UK, if driving an EV. Plus, the UK's ability to support all of the expected future needs of electricity simply couldn't be supported right now. Then you have to consider how much one of these costs! Toyota know that EVs are still currently something only richer people can afford, hence why they've been slower to go electric. Hybrids, with their eCVT is going to be popular for a while longer I feel, especially in their UK market. Cost of living and other things going on in the world, don't make me excited to have anything like this.
Great car for a BEV. A new Tesla will be gone in ten years, Bz4X will be around for much longer. 1million km batterywarranty tells you Toyota isn't messing around.
$70,000 AUD Driveaway??? What a rip, the same base 2WD model sells in China for about $30K AUD less. Toyota's cynical "Toyota tax" on Aussies exposed again. Both of our Toyota Prius' batteries failed prematurely at about 200K kms, every dollar we saved on Petrol went back to Toyota for the replacement batteries. We now drive a Tesla Y and are very happy, zero issues so far after 38K kms.
Nonsense! Toyota said when they started with the BZ. Don't fast charge, it will kill batteries, don't charge up to 100%, it will kill batteries. They were hones, not so VW, Audi, Tesla etc etc. Toyota only brand with overall, batteries included, 10 years warranty, an industry first. lexus in the Netherlands, 15 years for the RZ! The new updated BZ4x, has better charging capacity when it is cold, better range (plus 5% = 475km real range!). You can fast charge 4 times a day! and still 10 years warranty.
Another climate, consumer and resource Unfriendly Over-capacity Nonfunctional Heavier Premium priced resources inefficient long, zero tailpipe emission electric car! A climate disaster!! Gross Wastage of Resources, Hype,

Does anyone make all terrain tyres that fit it? That's the key to whether the off road capability is any use.

This car just arrived in Adelaide! So excited to test drive it.
Overall it's really solid EV and i really like it's interior 👌
a billion times better than any Tesla or any non-Japanese EV
however NISSANs EVs are even better

Needs more driving range.
No, it doesn’t match Tesla. An EV built by an anti-EV company.
Toyota's WLTP. We Lie To People.
