The only reason I started doing it is I went looking for the information and could not find it. It's not perfect but it gives good representation of how bullets perform at different velocities. Glad you enjoyed.
@@simplemindedfella Surprised not more people are watching, because this is KEY information. The information IS out there that not all "hunting bullets" do a good job. Anyone sending out a bullet toward anything but paper needs to have some idea of what effect that bullet will have.
Great test! I use these in my Ruger GSR. I figure out of a short barreled 308 it would be a better performer on game due to the lower expansion threshold with velocity. Plus the 16 inch 308 is already starting a bit slower. The other bullet i use alot in that rifle is the Speer 165 btsp. Be sweet if you tested that one next, but i do love me some noslers.
I bought some of these in 284 diameter for the 280 ai I have built I shot it the other day with hornady sst 154 and it was already starting to group the weight of accubond LR was 150 grain and I was getting velocities of around 2932 fps with the 154 sst
Yes, a bunch of whitetails and a few muleys. Love them. The 168's are my go-to for the 30-06 and 308. I even use them for elk out of both. I rarely soot the 300 win mag anymore, but it is set up using the 210gr ABLR's, and one of my 6.5 Creedmoors is set up using the 142gr ABLR's. I have even taken elk with the 142gr ABLR in a Creedmoor. With that said, the 6.5 CM it is perfectly adequate for elk, the only issue I've ever had is shooting an elk within 70 yds and getting over fragmentation and under penetration even with the bonded ABLR. (I did center punch a rib) The 6.5 mm bullet is just too small of a diameter to handle high velocities impacts on game such as elk. (Slow them down, and they are great but your reallylimited on range) I have started using monolithics in 6.5 for elk. I am sure that over answers your question, but yes, I like them. They can be a bit finicky to get to soot accurately, but when you do, they are awesome on the business end.
G'day mate. Did you have to change your seating stem to reload these at all or just got away with using the normal one that would be for most other projectiles.
Good job. Really appreciate these videos. It's critical information that nobody else (that I know of) is putting up.

really appreciate your down to Earth approach, teaching!
I truly am a simple minded person and try my best to keep things as understandable to all as I can.
Glad you enjoy my content

I switched from accubonds to these specifically because of the lower velocity threshold due to using an 18 inch ar10.
Great bullet. Looking at these for future elk in 308.
I have harvested in adult cow with these they are an excellent bullet.

Can’t find the 168 ABLRs anywhere. My Tikka loves them.
My Tikka really groups well with all Nosler 168/ 165 grain as well.
Good job👏👏
EXCELLENT!
You answered some questions with this video. Thanks
Hopefully they were the answers you were looking for. Your welcome.

Have you ever tried them on whitetail or muleys? If so what did you think?

Thanks! Ya I’m looking for a bullet that hold together at 100yds, and still expands well at 300-400yds out of a 308win. I think this is the ticket!
