I searched far and wide for this Chanel WOC in caviar to add to my collection (and to mark this new milestone in my life) and I'm so excited to unbox it with you guys for the first time since I bought it!
Sharing what to expect when you buy a Chanel, what it's good for, and how much/little fits inside this cult favourite.

Love your woc💙 My cobalt blue one is on the way for my 35th birthday gift to myself. I’m the same, I like the expensive stuff for a milestone or my “souvenir” from a trip. Ex: I got my Gucci belt last year in Italy. When I wear it, I remember the trip. Sure beats a postcard. 🤷🏽♀️
Congrats on your new bag and for saving on your new home. I'm not wealthy, but I do believe in saving for things that bring you joy.
I just received my first Chanel item and it is also a w.o.c. I ordered it sight unseen from the Chanel Beverly Hills boutique. I live in California, but several hours away from any Chanel boutique so I had to order it by phone and it was just delivered today. I was pleasantly surprised by how much fits inside, and I am loving my new w.o.c.

Got a limited edition with chanel embossed all over the caviar leather in hk airport last year. Was going to get the classic purple lining but the SA persuade me with this limited caviar edition WOC. Love your dress anyways such a good contrast.
I am so glad I came across this unboxing. I am literally in the same boat. I wanted to save a certain amount of $$ before I purchased my WOC , but I was hesitant for the same reasons!! ! you convinced me! lol

I feel the same about Chanel here in Sydney, Australia. Unless you have a dedicated SA, they just don't give a toss about you. Really sub par customer service for a luxury brand. I was pretty disappointed.
I think the caviar leather will stretch/mould nicely to fit your essentials. And if you want to save some space, you could put your cards in the card slots. I put my bills in the front pocket. Easy access and it's pretty secure. If you're worried you could keep the bills in the zipper compartment.

Do you recommend the WOC as a first Chanel purchase? Or should I save more and get the classic medium flap before I am priced out entirely?
Hey girl! I loved it as my first purchase (mostly because the price was more manageable that a flap). But TBH, I don’t use it as much as I use my larger bags (unless I’m going out or just shopping), since it doesn’t fit much beyond my phone and wallet. I think if I went back, And if my finances allowed, I would’ve saved for a bit longer to get a flap (my only thing with flaps is that they’re not technically cross body and I love my cross bodies haha). Hope that helps ❤️

After having your woc for awhile, do you still recommend it?
I love it! But more for dressier occasions and as a collector piece tbh. I find that I need to carry around more on a day to day basis than it allows

You would have more space without the additional wallet you added. You can slide your cards in the card slots.
