- Preacher turned comedian/ rock star who was killed in a car crash at the height of his career on April 10, 1992. You have countless cameos from the hard rock scene and Jessica Hahn as well appearing in the video as well as the late, great Rodney Dangerfield. Great cover of the song made famous by The Troggs with additional lyrics by Sam Kinison.
If you're watching this video in '23 then that means 2 things, your ass misses the '80's and your youth 😂🤘👍.
It also means that you have an ex who should slide under a gas truck and taste her own blood.
@@EvilxSausage It also means that your ex was a
demon from hell and she used you 😂
@@BearJew72 You know it.
Dam right. 1982 baby right here.
Got me here from Billy Idol's book
Who else misses the 80s?
2024 still here
Yep
Sam Kinison....YOU are greatly missed! Rodney Dangerfield....you TOO! If only I could go back to 1992. I was just starting to mellow out from the 80s. it was a great time.
It's 24 I'm 60 I have no ass anymore and I still love Sam Kinison. Go check out the Kennedy version of wild thing
Several people in this video are no longer with us, including Sam himself. RIP to all of those who helped make this song and video a hoot!
Rodney, Sam, who else? Cause I'm pretty sure most of those guys are still alive
@@lsvtecb18c1 Robbin Crosby from Ratt
@@rolemodlin that's only 3 people dead in this video, not several. The ones still alive in this video are getting old though, including Jessica Hahn
@@BearJew72 she’s dead too, get updated
R.I.P. Rodney
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE A DEMON FROM HEEELLLLLLLLLL???"
We’ve all had a “wild thing”.
We need someone like Sam today in 2023.
He'd hate woke snowflake society
Jim Breuer does okay, in these moronic times.
FOR SURE WE DO...THE SNOW FLAKES WILL MELT...😅😅😅
This is by far THE most romantic song ever. I recommend it for your wedding if you’re engaged.
I agree
80' s heavy metal. Nothing better! I'm glad I grew up during that time.
Of all the supergroups in rock history, this is undoubtedly the superest! Pure genius.
My God, I would have loved to see Sam Kinison vs. the Me Too movement, lol.
Rest in peace to the beast of comedy Sam "Bad Sam" Kinison. Arguably one of the absolute best comedians in the history of comedy. Keep rockin' and rollin' up in heaven brother.
God damnit I wish I was a teenager in the 80s. Fuck I love the 80s chicks😊
The amount of fun Billy is having brings me a real similar child like joy🤟🤟🤟
The fact that this came out in 1990 was chilling in the best way. It was all the greats together... The entire 80's we loved and still love sending off a big final FUCK YOU together... Just amazing and fun.
i thought it was 1988?
@@willsaf8624 Maybe the video was made in 90? Dont know, but the title says (1990)
@@willsaf8624 it was filmed in late 88 came out in 89 I believe.
@@lsvtecb18c1 good enough for the point
Came out in 88 , I remember buying the 45 single and playing it over and over and over again.
I was 12 and thought it was the coolest thing ever and the video had all my Rock favorites of the day especially Slash , but absolutely a 80s video.
Sams scream is powerful. If he lived i bet he would have put out a Hard Rock comedy album.
I always laugh when I watch the intro skit of this video. Rodney Dangerfield was such a classic comedian. It was a no brainer using him for this bit.
I was a kid back then, but didn’t Sam get his stand up start thru Rodney? I know some of his classic bits were at Dangerfields.
@@MyWORDisntGospel Yes Rodney did get Sam started at his club in New York on his HBO show. Rodney also got Sam cast as the crazy teacher in the movie "Back to School".
Rodney discovered Sam I believe?
I had always missed one line in this song, the one that ends with "taste your own blood" I just went on line to find out what it is in its entirety. (You know, because we're living in the future and everything) and now I know it...
"I hope you slide under a gas truck and taste your own blood!!!"
And now I can't stop laughing! This line tops "Every time I kiss you I taste what other men had for lunch" as the single funniest line ever in a rock song!
My throat hurts just watching this.😂
I think Billy Idol got first dibs on the cocaine prior to the shooting of this video. I had forgotten that he'd had so many camera shots in this, which is kinda messed up because I was a Billy Idol fanatic in the 1980s. This video is some 1980s awesomeness!😁👍 The younger generation missed out!
Greatest all star and rockin' music video, ever! Sam Kinison Like.No.Other.
Full of Testosterone
The after party must have been legend….
That was the after party
Half of Peru was snorted up that day.
Wait for it... and I hope you aren't allergic to DARY!!! 🤣
The bunch in the video? That was the pre-party.
I was 13 when I first saw this and fell in lust with Jessica Hahn. Man, the 80s/90s rocked like no other!
You watched MTV all day with the hopes of seeing this video or Samantha Foxx “I wanna have some fun”
I found this because of Billy Idol’s autobiography!!! This is the most metal thing I’ve ever seen! And I fucking love it. I was smiling the whole time.!!! So many of my favorite legends! Sam has an amazing scream!!!
An 80’s classic reunion of Rock legends
One of my favorite moments from high school. This and Wayne’s World.
Wonderful video! Sammy put all of his fury into that song, and he knew of what he was singing. Sammy, too, was a "wild thing". And from what I've learned about him, also a very warm person.
NOW this is Heaviest Metal 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was 8 when Sam did this. God I miss him and those Carson shows he was on.
AMAZING!!!! Hard Rock all stars!!!
The ultimate Supergroup
This was perfectly edited
At the end of the 80s this is literally the only stand up comedian that I think could have asked major rockstars to be in his music video. Sam was probably the only stand-up comedian to ever have A list Rockstar credibility. They all loved how dangerous his act was and how far he was ready to push it. Somebody else at the time like Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfeld they would have just laughed at if they asked. Maybe possibly Andrew Dice Clay at the end of the 80s could have asked. But they would all be new york-based hard rock and metal bands. But dice can only do short insulting one-liners he couldn't describe a way of life that was so rock and roll like sam.
This had to have been fun af to make
Anyone else think this version is slightly better than the original one?
I first heard this version at a bar my aunt worked at in Miami in 1992 called The Telephone.
1st time right now... thsnkyou L.B
I'm the only song in 1980s or 90s. It's a trip Sam Kingston recipes man. I didn't know much about it, but I'm a black guy from Detroit. I still love heavy metal past present and future thank you
In my own opinion, the Matt has flavor he should be up there with public enemies flavor flav The guy is a fucking genius he's
Look at how young Billy Idol is. Steven Tyler.. this group was ROCK AND ROLL!
This is so cool

Couldn't pay me all the money in the world to kiss Sam kennison
She was Jim Bakker's mistress, then took hush money from him. She ain't picky!
Tawny was the epitome of hot back then!
Remember this 👍
Pure rock royalty!

Sam tapped that.
back when we had real rock music. Not this Maroon Five crap
Man I loved this, the video too it's like a who's who of the charts back then! Sam Kingson on vocals was such an inspired choice! 😂
My favorite lyric is ," why didn't you tell me you were a demon from hell?".
Robert palmers love it

Never forget Sam or Rodney damn funny comedians
The best break up song ever 🤣 🤘
kinison killed it
You think Slash has any memory of recording this video?
I was in 8th grade when this came out! 😳🫣🤯
I was 15 or 16 yrs old when this came out. Time flies. I want to go back to my teen years in the 80s now, beginning with 1985...
I've never heard this version, or at least remember it. I've just heard this on hair nation a few weeks ago.
I heard this on the radio. I've actually never heard of this band
I swear I spied Michael Schenker just once.
Nah that was Robin Crosby
@@CoreyLippin-yj3fb nope I saw Michael Schenker dear.
GOAT
wouuuuuu esto es una genialidad
Rest in peac sam kinison
I think it was either Slash or Joe Perry who said everyone was either so drunk and/or high most didn't remember filming it and a lot wasn't intended such as Slash passing out and falling in the box.
Billy Idol got to all of the cocaine before anyone else could find it 😂 lol!
Amen
Ha, I haven't seen this since I was like 8 years old.
It's pretty funny all the stuff that goes over your head when you're 'that young.
To my husband Brvan I'm your wildthing🍻
Bet ur hot also lol😂
I got to see Sam come out to introduce skid row at giants stadium… it’s actually on UA-cam Bon Jovi also closed the show…. Great memories…. Wonder how many of these guys bopped Jessica’s brains out while on the set for this video? Lmao 😂😂😂😂
only heavy metal song i truly even like WHY because sam and the gang made this version fun
That's sad considering this isn't even Metal , it's a 80s Hard Rock version of a 60s classic.
As a Metal head and Rock fan since I was 5 I could give you 50 songs you would probably love that Destroy this , go and look up the " Best Heavy Metal songs of all time" and start there
I guarantee you will find stuff you dig if you like the sound of this.
Which of these musicians do we think Jessica left with after the video wrapped?
🎙️💋🪷💥🪷💥🪷💥 To my husband Bryan I Am ur Wild thing 3/25/2024
Robin Crosby 🤘🤘🤘
He was a rockstar
This was fun, ha.
The moral majority almost killed rock- Jessica Hahn blew that lid...all puns intended.
Trivia, Sam Kinison used to be a priest.
Sam Kinison and Sebastian Bach have the same voice 😅
Ummm......no !
Sam had a pretty decent rock voice in the AC/DC , Cinderella raspy sort of way but Sebastian Bach had and still mostly has one of the greatest voices in Rock History! He can do the soft gentle singing of I Remember You to balls out High and gritty Monkey Business or do both on 18 and Life.
Incredible range , Sam just has a Great Scream and can do it in key.
He was a singer in his Church, for those who don't know his History he was a Preacher before doing comedy.
How do you live with yourself?
🙏sam, rodney,tawney,crosby🙏
that's not Tawny - that's Jessica Hahn
Jessica Hahn 😚😋
Xoxoxoxo❤💚💜💙💛xoxoxoxo

Nah, I just miss Sam Kinison …

DONT TAX BEER!!🇸🇪🇸🇪
I was a teen of the 80s when this came out. I have come to realize that all the talent in 5his song and video, and there is a lot of rock legends here. With all that being said the guitars in this version are really wimpy. Hendrix done it right sorry just my opinion. 🤘🏻
Rip napelon
He was death metal before death metal was cool
anyone notice how hot she really was
good old days...
Televangelist Jim Bakker sure did. 😅
