‘Twould that you would have told us - those of us who own one already - which Presets (especially piano) you were using and if you tinkered with any of them … I have spent hours trying to figure out which sounds are the best and inevitably spend more time adjusting … for certain songs. You seemed to have some great pianos straight away. Of course, I hear my upstairs Yamaha C5 everyday whilst playing it, but I don’t believe that I am comparing it to the EX …🤷🏼♂️. Thank you for your time and hard work putting together the demo. Would still like to hear/read your response to the piano settings. Cheers /Slainte, 🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸. 🎸👨🏼⚕️🫶✌️♾️
I am a guitar player who wants to expand my musical horizons. I ordered this KeyBoard and was pleasantly surprised that you gave it such a great review. Glad to know I spent wisely. I mean, as you said, this isn't a Huge price point but i am on disability now, so the $ MUST be watched extra hard these days. I also subscribed to all your vids! Looking forward to learning about Keyboarding in general!
Thank you for a good review. I got excellent informations from this video. I can't make up my mind between FA 08 and Krome EX 88. If you chose one, which would you recommend?
@@chrissenner1575 I'm looking at getting one of these boards. I already have the Kurzweil pc3k 76 which I adore. Are the Krome sounds as good as the PC3K
Great review Chris, if it's of any use to you I'd like to see you looking at the camera when you are giving your apreciation at the end of the video, that's helpful to get me engaged in other videos I watch. Thanks you and looking forward to see some other reviews in this price range as I'm searching for a Synth for me!
I would give the feel to the FA 08. As far as sounds go, it's pretty close. They both have great stock sounds & great interfaces for tweaking. I've been playing the FA 08 for years now, so I'm a little partial to it.
From what I have researched ,It has the sounds from the original Krome plus many new voicings, including upgraded Grand Piano. I was surprised to see that they included Bundles for free with additional stuff.
Which would you prefer out of THIS Krome or the new Nautilus? The Krome seems like a better value for the money but the Nautilus has new features and sounds 🤔

I am partial to the FA 08. With this being said, I really love Roland keybeds and I like the simplicity of the FA 08.

I love my 73 EX.

Thanks for the great critique, Felipe! I agree with you!
Great video
I know krome ex has a bunch of new sounds, but does it conserves the sounds in krome? Or they are different too?
How does this compare to the FA08 and the MODX with sound and feel (the hammer action)?
I would give the feel to the FA 08. As far as sounds go, it's pretty close. They both have great stock sounds & great interfaces for tweaking. I've been playing the FA 08 for years now, so I'm a little partial to it.
Are the keys weighed like a digital piano?
Yes, there are weighted keys. The action is great as well.
Is the action any similar to RH3 of korg's stage piano?
Korg krome just looks better in Black, I know they wanted to match the name and all, but it’s a bit too over the top.
Under $1,000?! Where?!
For the 61 key version, $949 i think, maybe that’s the Korg Kross names are so similar.
Does the krome ex have the same basic sounds (ep's, organs, synths, etc) as the krome? Bc i love krome sounds
Thank you!!!
I believe that the basic sounds are very very similar with some of them being the same! The sounds also were a very pleasant surprise to myself!
From what I have researched ,It has the sounds from the original Krome plus many new voicings, including upgraded Grand Piano. I was surprised to see that they included Bundles for free with additional stuff.

I would say to stick with the Krome!!
Nautilus has more weight compared to Krome.
@@chrissenner1575 Thanks man! That newness of the Nautilus is tempting but something just seems "off". This was a dope QUALITY video by the way!
