A week ago, having kids wasn’t even in my ten-year plan.
Now, I have a five-year-old daughter who will hardly look in my direction.
I am aware that Amelia is grieving her mother’s death, and I swear I’m not a complete jerk, but I jumped on a private jet to Chicago at a moment’s notice, and the kid won’t even say a word to me.

The story was good, that baby voice for a 5yr old was like nails on a chalkboard! I’d still like for their relationship to continue!

Really liked this book but I felt the ending was really rushed and that there were a lot of loose ends left wide open.

Only about 20% in, enjoying the book so far but I'm thinking the author doesn't have kids? 5 year olds can talk, they don't just say "up" when they're communicating to people

Really enjoyed the story Levi was a bit of an ass in the way he treated Claire. But I’m glad it worked out and they got their happy ending.

me too! I broke the bed at my grandparents house as a kid.
The story had potential, but the narration was just... Robotic and un enjoyable. the interaction between the nanny and the billionaire was... cringe worthy ... it's a thumbs down from me

The constant hard core cussing is offensive and frankly shows a tremendous lack of creativity. It distracts from the story which has an interesting flow. Made me turn it off several times. I tend to want to finish what I start. That personal characteristic is the only thing that brought me back. Sorry! Just being honest.

@@alenebush4896 normally that is the scenario. But the girl lived with her mother and that was the only parent she had. Plus, we don’t know how well off the mother was so they may have not been any prior education. I could be wrong though, since I’m only two hours in the book.
