Hey I’m around 2 months post surgery and have been starting going gym for legs quite often now, how often should I be doing strength workouts a week, as I do feel fatigue in my quads and hamstring the day after workout?
@@ywoct15 if i'm prescribing some simple balance rehab or stretching and it isn't too difficult for the patient, yes can be done every day. Can't comment on your personal circumstances though
It depends on patient level. If I have a high level athlete, they might be doing strength work x 3-4 weekly. I try to encourage 2-3 strength sessions weekly for most ACL patients but intensity/exercise to failure will vary person to person.
