It might be cool to make the maps deteriorate over time like in Gang Beasts and 50 maps could get dry eventually considering the pace of the game so maybe make a level editor too! Oh and for a special map you could probably have it so the characters play in the audience and you have to knock them into the pit in the middle.
revolving layers. some kind of shader, not too dramatic, instead of blackness. did you see kbit's "i made a ragdoll physics engine"? grabbing is fun. but i'd say recognising the scope, a fun simple game that doesn't need to have or be everything. an opportunity to make videos and try things. how about occasional birds or ufos like in asteroids.
A graveyard type map where ghosts appear and try to pull you off the edge. You could shove someone into a ghost and the ghost pull them off. I think some kinda spooky map would be awesome tho.
I think a Hawaii theme would be cool so some of the maps would be 1 or 2 islands surrounded by water and some of them would have volcanos that would erupt

This is probably a bit too late but if your grass is moving using materials instead of blueprints you can Asset merge all them into 1 static mesh and that will only make it 1 draw call for the mesh instead of the amount of grass static meshes you have in the world

Atlantis would be a good idea for a map
I'd like to see a sky themed map with things like clouds and birds

I think if you tweak the spectators and background it could really add to the feel of the game

It looks really good but shouldn't some of the music be more intense if you are in a (sort of) gladiator ring?
