Usable battery is 79kWh and not 78kWh! Actual range is therefore 332km and not 328km!

I suggest to make a Europe tour through as much countries as possible and make a video about the infrastructure for loading electric cars. Most questions that people are asking me is about this subject.
I’ve averaged 3.7miles/kWh over the first 3000 miles in my 23 fwd C40 on 20” wheels Best road trip so far was 265miles (427km) with 7% battery left (65% country roads, 35% motorway). Tyre pressures are as important as anything for good range
PS2 or C40, either way I'll watch every video. Good content 👍
These range improvements we are seeing across many brands are just the beginning. Keep in mind we are still in the VERY early stages of EV development. Car companies are really good at making gradual engineering and technical improvements to their products over time - it's part of their basic business model. Looking at UA-cam videos gives you an idea of what is to come - axial flux motors that are very powerful, but smaller and lighter. Batteries with more capacity, less weight, improved safety. Overall efficiency improvements with heat pumps and lightwieght castings etc. It's all pointing to future EVs that are dramatically improved over what we have now and it's pretty exciting.
Would be nice to see you do an comparsion of c40/polestar 2 and your Porsche. Plus and minus and are Porsche so much better compared the price?
Hello. Last day the 27th I bought a C40 at a dealership. The purchase was made by choosing one from their website. How can I know if the model is from 2024?

I agree that this is such a gorgeous looking car. I like the red one, not normally my colour, but for some reason looks cherry! Interesting the Polestar got even better numbers, must be down to aerodynamics. I’d like to see you drive the C40 down to Morocco - you could take down some assistance or raise awareness of the recent earthquake.

I've heard that in USA (and here in Brazil too, second a dealer) the XC40 and C40 Twin got the new engines but kept the same battery pack (no increased capacity). Is that true?

This is a press car, so we just say yes to the first available car. We can’t choose what car we get. But I’ve requested a rwd version on 19” wheels for my Africa trip! 😊😊

@@KrisRifa Probably not, I think the switch of model years and upgrade of the main motor from 150 to 210 kW with about 10 wh/km better consumption happens only end of october.
There is something unequivocally right about this Volvo C40 Recharge. It is not gorgeous. It is not gigantic. It is not loud. It is not tough.... It is just damn right!

I have 2021 Honda CRV 1.5 AWD and spends 5L/100km petrol fee/electric fee = 23.7kW/100km as on the same road condition and speed as this. So, I do not think the electric vehicles are still efficient.
No offense but i seriously doubt your 2021 Honda CRV 1.5 AWD goes 20 km/L on a highway at 110 km/h, that's a lot better than what Honda specifies that car should be able to do.
@@Gr8dane85 This Consumption is 100km range on almost straight road with 85km/h Cruise control, AC on, with 2 people. When I go another destination 130km far which 1.000m elevation 110km/h then Consumption reaches 28kW/100km return! AC on 23C Normal Mod with 2 people no luggage. Tires are soft: Michelin Latitude Cross. Front 44psi Rear 32psi. This pressures are still very comfy and right touch down on tire.

How the heck is 21kwh/100km efficient ? All the newer cars are around 17-18kwh/100km. And Tesla even lower.🫣
This is a high speed test on the freeway. I think the numbers you're quoting is driving with more optimal speed
