Nothing should be shocking if you have been following Xbox with open eyes ever since they released the Xone. They have squandered the past decade+ pimping controllers and creating gimmicks to cover for a lack of substance. Gamepass turns games into music. Worthless in a way. You don't make in house games with all the studios you own, then you trash exclusives and in turn give people no reason to buy your console for sure. Now they will become a new Sega. Sad man. Still play my 360.
While I don't agree with everything you said, it is hard to argue that Phil Spencer has had 10 years to bring Xbox back to its 360 days. I definitely agree they should be churning out more strong exclusive titles. I don't expect every game to be a 90 on metacritic, but we should be able to name a lot more solid titles than what we have now. I am not even someone that plays a lot of exclusives, but they need those titles to pull more gamers to xbox. I feel your pain on the last two sentences. That was a great generarion. 💪🏾
I never actually considered thr language barrier as a reason. That's an interesting point. Also you are technically correct...they will own the IP moving forward. It really has the potential to be there exclusive horror series...like their own Resident Evil. But I just think it will be incredibly challenging bringing in someone from the outside to resurrect the series. 🫤

I think since there was a language barrier it made more sense to close them, they can still make an evil within, they own the IP
