Ma’am I have a doubt Less stable substrate produce more amount of product and more stable substrate produce less amount of product . But you explain vice versa Please clear this doubt!
Suppose, in this case B is more stable than A, so at equilibrium, population of B will be more and that is the deciding factor (if activation energies of both the reactions are same) and therefore, B gives major product.
