What is Google Customer Reviews?
Google Merchant Center reviews are awesome because they build social proof and help with your click through rates. And let's all be honest; they just look great on your Google Shopping Ads.
This Google Merchant Center program basically allows you to collect feedback from customers who've made purchases on your Ecom store. Aside from that, enabling Google Shopping reviews allows buyers to identify which stores are reputable and offer high-quality products.
What are the requirements to enable Google Merchant Center customer reviews?
1. At least 50 product reviews across your store
2. Sign up in the merchant center and get approved for the feature
3. Product reviews feed in a format that Google accepts.

Hi sam, thank you for the video. it is really helpful . i have a question though. we are using a third party aggregator but not the paid version. when i checked the merchant center, it shows an option to manually upload the aggregator reviews manually on merchent center and i uploaded it as an xml file. but after one week, it still shows our review feed as inactive. what should i do?

Hey Sam - appreciate the video. Now, is there a way to respond to customer reviews captured through this service? Our company has been responding to reviews for specific locations in GMB but haven't been able to find where to respond to these website-specific reviews? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
Hello there. I was told we couldn't duplicate reviews from e.g. Amazon, Ebay, etc., because Google will think it's spam. Could you please clarify this? Thank you very much!
I've followed this and added the code for Google reviews. Just tested it but the pop up doesn't appear on the order confirmation page. Does it take a few days, or should it be instant?

What about Woocommerce? Most of the websites are woocommerce thats why the low amount of likes

Hey Sam, thanks for the video but I followed this and got an error from Google. I followed the stamped.io path. I got this email from Google, can you please suggest -
his problem appears when we are not able to match the submitted rating to the corresponding products. In order to be able to match your ratings we would like to ask you to take the following actions:
Add additional GTIN or MPN (Manufacturer Part Numbers)/brand information to your ratings feed. Please follow this link for more information on how to modify the feed further, or visit our Help Center article if you like to learn more about strong product identifiers. If you have your own registered brand, please do also include your SKUs as MPN together with your own brand name for each submitted review.
Ensure that the submitted identifiers in the ratings feed are the same identifiers that you have submitted within your Shopping Ads Feed.
Are you allowed to import Etsy reviews? I thought it was against their TOS to host their reviews somewhere else?
You'll need to check the TOS yourself. It has the section called "Your Content" that says that reviews/comments/etc are not owned by Etsy. I haven't seen anything in their TOS saying you can't have the reviews somewhere else (but check for yourself... this isn't legal advice.. etc)

Still valid? We plugged this into additional scripts in the Settings/Checkout and the reviews remain Status: Inactive for some reason....
what can I do if I don't have 50 reviews ?
Hello, there's a product reviews app from Shopify that will allow any visitor to leave a review on the product I offer an app to import those reviews directly into google feed.
