Funny enough I just opened one for kicks and giggles yesterday too. Got 2020 first edition bowman pack. Hit a gold /50. Pulled a auto out of my bowman fat pack as well. Surprisingly not a completely awful mj homdings product for once.

My box was, I think, $60 at Walmart. Was hoping to get the 2018 fat pack (they go for $50-60 by themselves) or a 2022 pack. It was a decent haul, I got 2021 first ed bowman, too. But my biggest pull was an Adley Ultra Violent outta 2023 chrome! That was NUTS to me. Never pulled one before.
That Yusei was HILARIOUS. That had to have been a sick joke. IT'S DESTINY, he won't leave you alone!
The first ever card we see on the channel is a K word. Ha! As far as the box, I don't know. Seems like a lot of 2021, dollar packs of big league, and retail bowman/platinum. The 1st edition pack a nice touch. Excited for the new channel!
Hi Stryker! Im watching the Tigers - White Sox game! On MLB channel! 0-0 bottom of the 4th! Im rooting for the Tigers! ( Cardinals let me down! ) About Mj Holdings, i will say that ive been blessed by that company, and my local walgreens! I pulled a Rod Carew ( blue ink ) autograph out of a loose pack, from a mj holdings repack box, along with a Brendan Donovan autograph out of a topps UK pack! Same repack box!

Most likely these are packs that are left after the rest of the box is sold and returned products. It's a crap shoot just like every unopened box.

Interesting. I found one of those boxes at WalMart about a month ago and decided $40 was too steep for what was, in all likelihood, a handful of retail packs from flagship series I never want to see again. After the fact I heard you can actually get some pretty sweet packs in them. Haven't seen them since, lol. But based on this video I'd grab one if I do--assuming there isn't any other viable retail on the shelf--as there's definitely a bit more going on with them than I'd have anticipated. Enough to make the rip fun, if not necessarily super high end.
Unfortunately, the box you opened up is $59.99 on your receipt. The $39.99 was the big mystery box. I went to purchase one of these Mega mystery power boxes at Meijer and immediately put it back after I scanned it and it said $59.99. Congrats on your Tigers making it to the playoffs!

The last 4 on the receipt is 5329 for $59.99. When you show the bottom of the box at 1:35 it says the barcode 5329. So yeah, these are $60 and totally not worth it (in my opinion)
Opening a 2023 Bowman Platunum blaster I just got at Wal-Mart on sale for $18 while watching this, halfway thru got a really nice looking Tatis numbered to 250

Grabbed one at Walmart the other day (I think it was $50) , just to check them out. The packs were basically the same. For $40 it isn't bad, but there is about a 1% chance you get the better packs they put on the packaging.
The best "Mystery" box I have gotten are the yellow ones from Target which are usually $16-$20 for 7 packs. Mostly 2023/24 Bowman, Topps Flagship and Topps Chrome.
I found these at Walmart for $50. The purples were in decent shape but it's a much better rip at $40 than $50. Got a 2021 1st Edition in one and a 2023 1st Edition in the other.
This is why opening packs is considered a gamble. $ spent on this mystery box. Afterwards, nothing but heartache 😢
They have these at Walmart as well. I picked one up and it had a 2018 Topps Update fat pack. No Ohtani or Acuna in it, so I should have left it sealed and sold it on eBay.

This would have been a lot better if they did regular packs of the Big League instead of the weird 4 card packs.....I'm guessing those are dollar store packs or something. Like you said, in terms, of what $40 buys you for retail this isn't horrible.

It feels impossible to hit anything of value out of retail now. Haven’t opened anything in awhile and have been just buying singles. But I miss the thrill of opening packs and hoping for something massive.
Depends on what you are ripping, and if you get them at retail prices. There were a lot of good retail products the last 2 years.

I bought one of these from Walmart. Got pretty much the same packs of cards, but overall I think it's worth it. Also, 've seen other rip these and every box seems have 2 loose purple cards in it. Even mine. So yeah. at least they could have put them in a top loader or something, not just thrown in there all loose. I just found the list I made of what came in mine, minus the 2 purple.
