Actually met the dude with the first 240 that you showed. Dude is an actual window licker, starter turns but no crank, and the engine doesnt turn over (not by hand either). Tried getting me to take it for $3500.

This is how to start the day!. 3:02 it's mold and it for some reason likes to grow around gas caps. You don't have this out west in the desert. Definitely happens on the east coast. Car sat for at least one full year
My daily is a 99 Camry. It sat before I got it and had mold around the fuel door. In pictures it looked like it had been on fire. I finally washed it after like a year of owning it. It was getting old being asked if it had been on fire. I didn't wash the whole car. Just that quarter. Haha
Netgear is so right tho. I got my s14 from an older lady by knocking on her door and giving her my number when I was 15. She sold me the car 4 years later for $500.

The fuel door has the vapors from the tank sticking to the paint. Straight gooey ethanol on there. Probably has a sticky vent valve and leaky gas cap

13:17 holy shit. My first car was a converted Silvia, the headlights, seats , the works, from 240 coupe, s13 red top, two tone silve, had 380 wheel hp, got it from my dad at 19 as my first car. And I had it less then a year.completely totaled, only have one picture of it left. I’m 33 now and drive a busted Nissan versa note 5 speed and have for almost ten years. Not a day goes by I don’t think about that car. Thanks ccf for the videos but that bit hit home.
This is how I feel about square body S10's for the same reason except I never totaled mine but my brother did run it into the ground and it has been left to rot 1 state away from me for about 12 years now 😢 Wish I had a quarter of the funds it would take to go get it and put it back together 😅

The other thing about cold calling people with cool cars, at least if they're in a parking lot or something, is if they have a cool car they tend to want to talk about their cool car. If nothing else, every time I've done something like that they've always been super excited that somebody has noticed their car. Last time I did that I followed a little orange Geo Metro convertible halfway across town just to talk to the owner about it LOL

Worst $660 I ever spent, but it was mine for 6 months until I crashed it. Saved the engine out of it, only thing that was worth more than scrap.

I'm class of 2013, and a lot of folks in my class were over-thinkers who spend more time considering all the variables instead of just picking a path and going for it. I'm one of them. It's so easy to look at something and have 500 nice things to say about it, but not knowing which one to pick, so you just sit there stun-locked in silence. I've made some early stage Gen Z friends who have zero inhibitions like that and just speak their mind, and I'm like "how the fuck??" The only upside is I don't get blindsided emotionally when something breaks because I already considered it.

Taking the first step of moving from Florida back to the Great Lakes area after 9 years has done a massive solid for my confidence. It's easier to go out, make friends, explore bars, and meet new people when I'm in a geographical climate that I want to settle in.

Theres a 2.3l 93 foxbody In town with the manual mileage unknown but the new floor panels tell me its well over 200k, interior is gutted, bumpers are cracked, rust on rocker and quarters. Clutch is sunk and gears were hard to find... started listing at 6k, its down to 2800. I offered 1200, then 1500.. hes stuck at 2k sayings its a perfect 5.0 candidate that I can drive into the shop, but theres like 20 other running driving v8 listings for 4k I wouldn't have to swap all the steering rear end subframe suspension ECU wiring etc... some people really DON"T know what they got.
