What yr 5.7? Pre 09 isnt as powerful as 09+ friends girls 09+ RT with basic mods dusts new RTs with the 8 speed. If ur a pre 09 best mod would be heads 09+ heads they flow much better
this video almost made me cry i have the same car with a cam and headers and my alternator caught on fire back in February and its been in the shop since then and yesterday the told me i needed a new engine
yeah that's what I'm working on but the only thing is different is my EGR is in the way for the 392 so I got to do a EGR delete that's what i think what do u think look it up 08 charger egr valve
@@drumswagger1 it's very possible. It's been done several times over. You'll need the manifold, and wiring for the runners. It's a custom setup for it tho. I think mmx has it

Likely if he has an eagle head swap the port change required a 6.1 intake. The 5.7 ones don't clear the timing cover. 6.1 also holds power at slightly higher rpm which matches well with the cam and heads
@@morganjames7002 Listening to his mod list it sounds like basically he has turned his Daytona into what ever you would call a 2014 Challenger or Charger with all 3 Scat Pack Stage kits but with a 6.1 Manifold and Nitrous instead of a what's becoming traditional 6.4 manifold Long tubes. With 560 HP that becomes a interesting build.
@@MrBulletBalboa 560 perceived crank hp if im not mistaken. You're looking at 396 whp without the nitrous and that is pretty common for a heads cam intake 5.7. Im not seeing anything super surprising but maybe I'm missing something
@@morganjames7002 Nah that's not what Im asking RT Life....Basically for starters the Edelbrock Intake is a ported 6.1 great for nitrous but robs 5.7 power otherwise so did he pick a 6.1 just for using the nitrous...Or a more practical answer did he or who he purchased the car from start the build with a 6.1 and SRT shorties years before the 6.4 manifold and long tubes become so sexy thanks to the RT Life channel.
R/T Life if you could find out that would be very helpful. Ik the non zf differentials from the first gen lx were very strong just dont know how strong.

Nice! The 6.1 is a great starting point for power
You have to either sand the plastic or use a sealing plastic primer. Otherwise it wont hold in certain spots.

R/T Life the only thing’s that took a shit was the alternator, fuel pump, oil pressure sensor, gas cap and all cost less than 500 bucks..

The 6.1 manifold bolts right up - many 5.7 guys use this or edelbrock manifold.
