That was an amazing session! I just finished reading Dawson and equilibration is one of the chapters that really stumped me because I'm a fresh dentist, with not a lot of experience, and i wanted to gain some more spatial insight on the ways to approach this in clinical practice. Dr Koray Feran is amazing, and i see a lot of his perspectives in Dawson. Definitely gonna take a look at his occlusion course ❤

just had a dentist do occlusal equilibration on me 3 months ago for my tmj. I wasn’t expecting him to do it and I had to much trust. I feel hopeless now. Everything feels off. I can’t even comfortably relax my mouth it feels like it doesn’t fit. Wish I would have done research before I let him do it but he told me there would be no pain so I figured it wasn’t a big deal. He didn’t do an analysis, just used the bite papers and shaved away.
