for those of you who didn't know, DJ Rozwell is also the man behind the Erratas ARG, and he created the chad vs virgin meme
stg this guy's like the new neil cicerega or something
@@atlassolid5946 the guy who made rainbow tylenol created penis music. not the meme but the song. they also produced the big black if ur familiar with osu
@@acid133 I knew that, didn't they also gain some infamy for having a nazi furry oc
@@atlassolid5946 yeah, which sucks because jackal queenstons music actually goes hard and hes one of my favorite dnb artists :(
@@acid133 emma aka halley labs/lapfox trax is awesome
I was wondering why this all seemed familiar until you mentioned KFC Murder Chicks. What a friggin throwback for me.
Fr, he said those two words and one acronym and the next thing I know, I'm watching a blameitonjorge video
This reminds me a lot of a concept They Might be Giants did. On the album Apollo 18, they made the Fingertips suite. Fingertips was a set of small tracks that might sound like a quick medley when played normally, but on shuffle would pepper the album with small interludes, making a different experience each time. They redid this concept on Nanobots, with the Insect Hospital suite. I think this album took that idea and leaned into it, turning the whole album into its own fingertips.
Thank you for the recommendation, first time I'm listening to them and so far I'm liking what I'm hearing
@@frafrafrafrafra TMBG are fantastic. amazing live band too
Hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog!
Literally came here to say that. Tho I've yet to do that myself.
Oh shit, were they musicians? I only know those dudes from AQW way back in time and I thought they were just two funny dudes making skits or something. Imma go and listen to them.
A song off this album randomly got recommended to me on Spotify a few months ago. My life hasn't been the same ever since I've listened to the project. I feel a looming presence floating over my cranium wherever I go. I still come back to it from time to time to listen to it. On shuffle ofc. It's not that I even like it that much or anything. More like I just can't let go. The melodies sit in the back of my head. Ringing. Calling for me to give it one more listen. Certain combinations of tracks make the looming presence feel stronger. I won't tell you which ones for the sake of yoy being able to keep your sanity. Take this comment as you wish for I swear on my left slipper I am being honest about every single word I've written here. Be safe and take care.
it's not that deep lil bro go do your algebra homework
Just tell me the names bro
@@mika_iran damn bro just let him spit out his essay
Which song
That means you like it that much.
We are literally the same person. Injury Reserve, Young Fathers, Cruelty Squad, and now DJ Rozwell..
Finally someone fucking talks about dj rozwell, man. So stoked
What do you recommend from him?
The mysterious backstory of the album reminds me of the story of The Residents Not Available. And apparently when it was rereleased, it had tracks completely different to the original release. This is what I heard of Padd Cheningtons video, but album stories add a small dose of spice to the experience.
was hoping someone here would mention The Residents. They play mystery to the tee, and have since the 70s. I immediately thought of them while hearing the story behind this album
This may be the single most pro wrestling references in a Jake video ever. We’re winning
I'm glad people are finding out about dj rozwell more
This was a joy to watch. With the new editing, this really fits your style. Excellent work!
i'm a huge fan of djr and kfcmc, so you can imagine how excited i was when this showed up on my recommendations. i'm glad people are still talking about this album, it's absolutely fantastic and definitely one of my favs :)
Jake, thank you so effin much for telling me about this album. I LOVE the concept of Cruelty Squad, and the messy, trash, sewer water-soaked, smelly rotting aesthetic of it, even tho I still have to play it (poor student life). And this album is just like if I was injected a needle full of the same garbage, smelly, disgusting water right into my veins. I love it so much.
You should check out Passenger of Shit if you like that kinda music, his stuff sounds exactly like what you described
LMFAAAOOOO HUGE CRUELTY SQUAD FAN EXCITED TO FINALLY PLAY THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME
is this related to erratas
yea
I found this album in a depression induced wizard quest long ago. so glad it got a showcase from the boy
this genuinely might be the most unique and interesting album ive ever listened to
I found this album on Spotify weekly and I was not prepared for how amazed and weirded out I would be, enjoyed the whole thing, my favorite song is DREAMS, love that distorted bass sound or whatever it is!
this is genuinely such a good video for such a small channel, can’t believe this only has 6k views
Not counting the introduction track there's 54 tracks, so there's actually 2.3 * 10^71 ways to listen to the album.
dude great vid. efforts at filming and editing paid off
Not having the real physical for "NONE OF THIS IS REAL" is quite fitting
DJ ROZWELL IS MY KING
Not mentioned, but you should also check out the 3 "EXPANSION PACK" series DJ Rozwell made for the album. A mix of ambient-style hiphop and more darker material, it bring more out of the premise and 'gimmick' of the album. Love the video, one of my all time favorite albums and glad to see it get some more attention!
Plenty of fan expansions roo
Erratas.
Love your shit dude. You deserve 20 times more subs than you have and I hope you get that attention you deserve
"The head of the curb"?
That's the absolute dumbest eggcorn I've ever heard.
is it weird that i've known of the existence of DJ Rozwell and Worldcorp Enterprises for a longer amount of time than I have known of the existence of most other mainstream hip hop artists
great video. enjoyed.
thanks for telling me about this album
Holy shit I love Rozwell, so happy this was recommend to me
he says "over 3000 ways to listen to this album"? it's more like its about or over 9,000 ways to listen to this album
IM SO EXCITED TO WACTH THIS I LOVE DJ ROZWELL
i actually love this album, been knew about it, so it’s dope to finally see some publicity
finallyyy ive needed an analysis of this project, Elder Grof being one of my fav songs oat
Your videos are amazing keep it up!
lil ugly mane samples , busta rhymes, dj dog leather/narwhal sounds vibes.. something deeper going on here
Would've never expected to see a YT video about my boy DJ Roz
Finally a good video about one of my favourite albums of all time
Erratad.
ooh i love this album, great it gets recognition
Crazy to see your subs fucking triple over the years like I forgot how long I’ve been watching this channel -and I still have no fucking clue what you’re talking about half the time I just like that you’re so into something-
Another drop in the bucket keep it up
glad to see this album covered :)
i think the "like a dungeon dragon" sample u like is from "Scenario" by A Tribe Called Quest
during Busta Rhyme's verse
Never watched this guy, never saw this album but knew exactly that he's gonna compare it to cruelty squad. Good video (me subscribed now)
I like this genre and aesthetic, i wish there were more artists in this genre that could contribute more songs with lyrics tho. i can't really do songs without lyrics.
Love this vibe. Sounds like it was made on OctaMed with an Amiga
I got one for you. If you can find “Orange is the new Black” by Köcosanté. It’s so weird and obscure… a weird local band that uses puppets and plays metal/rap really strange and unique band. I have the cd somewhere. It wasn’t released anywhere you had to be at a show to get it.
one time I listened to song of this without shuffle or something then my whole spotify got glitchy and it would skip automaticly songs and stop at random moments
finally my Man DJ Rozwell getting some recognition
This is def about to blow up !!
A BUCKET OF JAKE AT THE G1 CLIMAX PLEASE
the “like a dungeon dragon” sample is from i believe a tribe called quests scenario
Naw this album genuinely hits
Fr
i ended up being lucky enough to collab with dj rozwell and rap on a couple tracks for the 3rd expansion pack of NOTIR “scare tactics (D SPIT at the time, no longer rap but still produce and play in bands)
i never met dj rozwell but we communicated over soundcloud and they were v cool
their music is incredible
cant wait for Rozwell to make the OST for that WIP fantasy sewer game by Ville
this dude is like wendigoon and mista GG of music
def gonna listen now jake
finally a video about this
I thought the backstory in the bandcamp description was literally a joke because it is obviously false when you see it samples songs that came out in like 2005
The like a dungeon dragon is a sample of busta rhymes in a song he was feature in by a tribe called quest called scenario
I never thought I would see the day where I can *listen* to a Roguelike
I found out about DJ Rozwell by a game called "Cement mixer simulator 2003"
Sounds like he interviewing TJ Miller
Cool to hear the story behind this I have this alblum on one of my tripping playlists lmao
Very interesting!
ive listened to dj rozwell before, listened to dogs used to eat me, this is my first time hearing of this
Fr tho thank you for making a video on this
A true masterpiece that has stood the test of time and always will forever just like magic itself tbh, I guess.
If I had a nickel every time I heard the phrase "Sewer infused garbage", I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, But it's weird that it happened twice.
Like hearing a song about a woman who decided her favourite movie is the human centipede, then meeting a woman whose favourite film is the human centipede 2.
It is the craziest thing I've ever heard. But I've heard it before so it's not so weird.
Hey that's like one of my top 5 albums of all time
STRAIGHT OUT THE FUCKING DUNGEONS OF DUNGEON RAP
Where fake wizards don't make it back...
awesome video and awesome album
holup you gave the lodge a 6/10? smokin crack
I interviewed KFC Murder Chicks a lil while ago on my podcast. If you want to hear them talk about themselves please do so. Nice people.
I gotta know how they got that lofi sound man
There is an addon to this too I think.
Dungeon rap. Sounds like the immortal game on the NES
Came for DJ Rozwell, stayed for Cruelty Squad. Oh, and DJ Rozwell. Haha
been listening to dj rozwell and kfcmc for a over a good year now, so it was surprise to see a review of his work despite him being pretty unknown ^-^
He is extremely known wtf do you mean LMAO. He's huge in the underground internet sphere, and even we'll known irl. His projects have been getting good attention for years.
@@pentexsucks43 haven't seen him mentioned elsewhere other than circles already aware of him, maybe just blind :p
@@pentexsucks43That's why he's homeless dude
@@ギコ Bro really acting like DJ Rozwell is Danny Brown lol

HOLY FUCK ITS THE WIZARD!!
Track 26 is four and a half minutes long.
This albums makes me feel sick. 😭
Interesting støff
DJ Rozwell change my life
does anyone know more similar "sewer-sounding" aesthetic music? i LOVED this album.
His whole discography is full of the sludge goodness
I dunno... Pinkcore?
Amazing video
My fav album ever, I love it so much.
Probably biased because I know Rozwell and we talk sometimes

This is just a prequel to Murder of the universe by Gizz
First listen on shuffle : started with burgerworth pt 1 and ended with burgerworth pt 2 followed by Bigfoot
Where can listen
I was hoping to find a link to the songs unless I haven't looked good enough.
It sounds really interesting.
Anyone got the link to the songs?
First link in the description
you should make a video on george clanton
If im ever gonna listen to this album then im gonna use the streaming version because i wanna scrobble
I remember finding him on Spotify while ago and his discography is very unorganized lol
was shuffle a thing most media players had in 2001?
Bonzi buddy sounds different than i remember.
jakey wakey could you pretty please check out the album Time fragment for a review?
Wait ive heard of this before
Just listened to the album and now my house burned to the ground , my families dead what do I do!!
Listen backwards, everything will revert
I want to sleep in my tears
this album is stuff that has already seen the light of day (james ferraro to say the first thing that comes to mind)
