I always tell people during planning phase to always go big on their decks, its a living space and storage area, but I know you are limited to what you can do with this build. Its still a beautiful area and will bounce back in no time....Thanks for the video.
Agreed. The larger deck will be in the second phase. I will get a video out that shows the full design. I am just working on how to show it in 3D as I have the plans built in AutoCAD in 2D at the moment.
@@offgrid-fromtheashes6681 Yes I went back and watched more. We went through a major die back with ash bore beetle here, trying to replace with wallnut. My advice: plant what you want back deliberately asap. Dont listen to ppl that say squirrels will do it for you. Skip the natural 40 years of bramble bushes.
Sorry... tool belt burnt up in the fire.. haven't replaced it yet. As for the pencil in the front pocket, that is one of my favorite places to misplace it.

great job nice video too one day i hope to become as good as you
Thanks!
Really cool to use that burnt lumber.
You have to use what you have, and I would hate to see it all sit and rot.

Very nice project! Waiting to see how the cabin progresses! I subscribe for more :)
Awesome, thank you!
Good start! Foundation is the most important fase…… Good luck with the build
Thank you! Hopefully the rest will go up a bit quicker as long as the weather holds out. Once snow sets in, things will get a bit more difficult.

Tool belt...and a pencil in your front pocket..?

stop the music
Sometimes it's better than the dead space or consistent loud tool noises.
