Thank you soooooooo much for posting this video!!!! I'm a Grandma in her 60's raising her precious grandson who is a very lively 9 year old. Yes, I too feel very over whelmed & exhausted sometimes. BUT, I thank God every day that He is with me & my wonderful & helpful hubby, especially the times we think we cannot do this!!!! I 've loved all ur videos, but this one has helped me so much. I love how your channel is real and genuine as you are. I love the fact that you show your car how it was and not sugar-coat anything about it and shared real life with us in cleaning your car and home and just your voiceover on mom life! Your amazing! As a mom we all learn as we go and what works the best for each of us. 💕 It’s nice to know how you just wanted to be with Oliver and let things happen over a few days and to have a break from house stuff. 🍂

Don't be too hard on yourself. We Mom's need to just take a break sometimes. Our babies grow up way too fast!! Sometimes you just have to be in the moment with them. I have a sink full of dishes and paint on my kitchen table from where we painted pumpkins last night and I didn't wash the dinner dishes. I'm about to tackle the kitchen!!! I hope you have an awesome week!!!
Yes becoming mom is a major life adjustment. I just have one too but it’s just as hard because they do not have siblings to play with. All on mom !

I have three kids and I homeschool all of them so yes it’s a lot of work doing all the cleaning and school work also but wouldn’t change it for nothing I love my kids and love having them home with me and safe and having that time everyday to teach them and spend time with them ❤

It was nice hearing you talk about mom life. Lately I've been struggling & now just found out im pregnant again & im overwhelmed. I feel guilty for those feelings because i know so many couples yearn for children. I use to be one of them but then life happened fast and i feel like the gas pedal been on since. Oof, thanks for normalizing the real side to motherhood, most rewarding loving position to be in but also the hardest for various reasons. Hope all you mamas out there remember to take 20 minutes for yourself today 💗

That’s mom life! My grandma has always told me, when you have kids or a kid, the house will never be clean. They get into anything and everything lol. I am here rooting for you! You got this! ❤ I am a mom of 5 and it does get overwhelming. My me time is when I take a little longer in the shower. Enjoy the moment and watch Oliver live in that house that one point you will miss. ♥️
Being a mom is a tough job. You have got this we all ride the struggle bus no matter how together we have it.. praying for you.
Don't be so hard on yourself. There is a big difference when you have a baby and then he becomes a toddler who gets into things and you can't get stuff done anymore while they sit and watch you. I used to let my 1 year old play with my wallet because it was the ONLY thing that kept her occupied. Then I spend the better part of the day or week looking for the money and cards she hid. I used to let my son play in the car while I cleaned it out (he was a little older). We do what we can when we can. Oliver will grow up and you will miss this. So enjoy him. THe house (and car) will be there. Find easy solutions (like baskets to fill up to clean fast and don't worry about the pinterest perfect house or the moms that seem to have it all together. I was not one of them. Love your channel. And Oliver is adorable.
Thank you Lauren for keeping it real with life sometimes being overwhelming! We are empty nesters and our house gets out of sorts also! I’m not sure if it’s the season or what but I have felt overwhelmed and things need to be done. I work full time and my husband farms. But yes….kiddos are at times a handful but they are little only once. Sometimes a messy house doesn’t matter as long as everyone is happy. But thank you again in showing us and reminding us all that we all get overwhelmed and it’s OK.😊

Thank you for being HONEST! Being a mom is TOUGH and my kids are both teenagers now but boy oh boy do I remember when they were little. They are only 2 years apart. Whew child!! 😮💨😮💨😮💨

You are so correct-mom life is hard but sooo worth it! I had girls night last night(our kids are all grown) and we were talking about thinking back on when our kids were young and we all agreed that we were Superwomen back in those days! Being 51 now I look back and wonder how I had the energy to do it! You are a superwoman!

Relatable! Having young kids is so so hard. Mine are now just old enough to where I feel like I’m able to keep up a little better (4 and 7.). For me the first few years with each was amazing but so hard. Give yourself grace and then more grace and just keep doing your best. Your best will change from day to day. Your doing great mama!

Oh yes I've definitely had days where I just let the mess take over and tackled it later. No shame!! Being a mama is hard work. You're doing a good job!
When the time comes for a forward facing seat, I highly recommend the chicco my fit! The cup holders pop off (my boys haven’t figured it out yet though) and can be put in the dishwasher. They’re a game changer! Lol
Girl i remember when my car was messy too know my kid's are 8,10,17 i kinda miss that stage. Enjoy your baby :)

Mine are 9, 6 & 5!
They played this AM, I straightened up at least twice already and it’s not even 10am!
They’re watching a movie now and playing on their tablets (they only get them on the wknds)!
But I just needed to sit and relax so they can have their screen time & unwind also!
Thanks for the cleaning motivation! My kids are in college but 2 live at home. My house still gets disgusting!! My dog leaves dirty footprints everywhere all the time. It's neverending! As far as more kids and messes, I didn't find it was that much worse. I loved that my kids could entertain each other as they got beyond the baby stage. That meant I could more done around the house.
Lauren, it seems you are learning that these days are precious - so enjoy them - he’s only going to be this little once - there is always going to be groceries to put away, dishes to wash, cars to clean but I promise you - there won’t always be toys to pick up!! And girl, give yourself some of the grace you give to everyone else ❤

Lauren you are awesome. There is not a mom alive that hasn’t been in your shoes. Taking care of a baby and a home is very hard work. In my younger days I was the type that would not leave until my house was spotless. But the day I became a grandma my whole life changed. It doesn’t bother me in the least to leave a sink full of dirty dishes or an unmade bed to spend time with these precious grandkids. One Saturday I was cleaning out a flower bed and my little granddaughter came to spend the night with us. As she was walking down the sidewalk she said maw away Gardner I’m ready to go shopping. I went in and got ready and left a pile of weeds in the front yard. She was three at the time. Now she is seventeen and calls me to see if I will go shopping with her. I drop everything and away we go. I love it. Enjoy your sweet little boy and don’t worry about messes. There will always be some kind of a mess waiting to be tackled but your baby will not always be little.
Everything looks so clean and fresh! They are only little once. The house will be there tomorrow. Because before you know it he will be 20 and want to be with his friends and you will wish he was little again. That’s where we are in our life. Enjoy him and love every minute.
Life can be so hard sometimes but it makes me feel so much better knowing I’m not the only one struggling! Thank you for opening up to us! I loved the chat you had with us! I think you’re a wonderful mama and wife! ❤

Lauren I am a parent of my daughter who is 22 and lives with her friends in an apartment, I lost my dad who lived to be 90, now I’m a full time caregiver for my mom with dementia she is still very much alert and very active.We have 3 dogs we live in a gated community and I have great neighbors and friends and a beautiful road I can take a break and walk to that is next our house we live on a lake,with a beautiful view.😁. I am glad,Torie Flores asked us to visit your channel 😁.

(I am a list person, too) I write it all down in my notes section & then at the end of the month I write it all down on paper and put it on my counter for the next day so I know what needs to be done that day!

I may not have kids but somedays I still just don't have the energy or motivation to do household stuff. but like you said for me it's been just get started. and I find it is easier. that's what's worked for me too. because if i make a list or think about it all I will just get overwhelmed when I think about things I have to get done at home.
Being momma to a 7 year old, it’s crazy how dirty and how fast those car seats always get ! Lol 😊
I love to clean and decorate for my mom and cook for her I am always trying to learn as much as I can and hopefully headed back to college to add to my Degree 😊

Thanks for this great cleaning motivation again 🤗 I was curious to know if you've just moved away from the living room or discarded that magazine with the broken cover around 17:25 ? Hhaha I struggle so much to toss any magazines (mostly the fashion ones) or even nicer clothes stores catalogs/flyers that if you ever have to toss some one of them once in a while I would like if you could film it as I keep piling them 🤭
I wish I had more time to keep up with the house work! My little guy just turned one yesterday 🎉❤ but he’s in this SUPER clingy stage lol it’s so hard to get things done and everything is piling up on me. 😭
With four almost five I have learned the best time to clean up is at night. Yes I’m exhausted and some nights I don’t do it but it’s therapeutic for me one all the kids get to play, I am present during the day , and then once they are down I can put on UA-cam start cleaning and i am not fighting with anyone or going behind over and over again plus it’s peace and quiet bahah no one whining or saying mommy mommy lol 😂
