You can put any of the square body front clips and grill and inserts .
I bought a Scottsdale exactly like that brand new in 85 brings back memories but that's not the right grill or steering wheel still a beautiful truck
That's a clean looking truck. I love the 1989-91 Suburban, K5 grill that's on it. What I kinda wish Chevy would've done is run the squarebody pickups with this grill to 1991. Then they could've changed body styles, and rolled out the 1988 truck style as the 1992 style, and run that style until 2002.
They actually did it but in Mexico, square bodys till 91 with this grill. They call it Chevrolet Cheyenne.

It’s an investment just like you said and that underneath is sooo clean there ain’t NOO way I’d be pulling somebody out of the mud with it !!! It needs to be kept in a garage and stayed there !!! Hahahahaha

I'm not mechanically inclined at all so if I sound dum forgive me lol...what's the newest model engine you can put into a old truck like that? I'm asking because I have a truck like this and my friend says I can put my 03 suburban rebuilt motor in it. Is that even a possibility?
You can definitely swap it in the square body. A lot of people do Ls swaps in those square body chevys
i got 89 single cab im trying fix but it cost a lot i whish i can have a 84 chevy in black lifted but this one in the video it just a hell of truck!!

Not original core support BUT this truck is a Scottsdale and has the correct black Scottsdale trim which you can't buy new also the old pinstripe leads me to believe original paint
