    Do you think the original yellow wheels (without the plastic lid thing) is good enough for asphalt/normal roads? Im trying to create a 4g controlled arduino rc car, but im worried that the car would get stuck after driving it like 3 miles away

    Have you updated the code for the obstacle avoiding sensor?
    and also i would suggest you to add humidity sensors and gas sensors to make it an entirely functioning rover that can be sent to other plannets

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  10 місяців тому

      I don't think I have. However by now, there are probably a handful of code out there on GitHub that emulate the features my robot has. Good tip there on the additional sensors, would be interesting 👍

    What is the diffrence between module nrf 24L01 with antena and not using antena?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  Рік тому

      The NRF module with antenna provides a signal range of up to 1km in perfect conditions, the one with the PCB antenna provides signal up to 100M.

    • @MaxImagination

      Hi and thank you. I didn't yet manage to code for the ultrasonic senor in this video, therefore I ended up not having obstacle avoidance work with the rover but only controlling it manually as is.
      Thanks for watching.

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks! I must have forgotten to paste the lights driver diagram link in the description, but I made something along the lines of this circuit - i.stack.imgur.com/jl1qV.png
      Be sure to use a 1W or higher resistor for "R3" and two 10K ohm resistors for both "R1" and "R2".
      Ignore the 3.3V signal marking. It will work with the Arduino's 5V pin logic as well.

    may I ask what your process is for planning your projects? do you just get an idea and wing it or is it more methodical with sketches and blueprints designed first?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  2 роки тому +1

      Hi. I've always got a written & sketched plan for each and every one of my projects. I often design blueprints too, such as in this occasion when I made the All-terrain Rover.

  • @Guts_024
    @Guts_024 9 місяців тому

    Hey max can u tell me that how did you add extra switchs in the remote??

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  9 місяців тому

      Hi there. I wired them with IO pins from the microcontroller going to one side of each switch and the switches' middle pin going to ground. If you have further questions, feel free to reply to this comment.

    • @Guts_024
      @Guts_024 9 місяців тому +1

      @@MaxImagination First of all thanks for the reply 🙂. And also like to ask did that take any extra coding ? And can I do the same as you showed on your 7 channel Remote and Receiver Video ?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  9 місяців тому

      Hi again, please excuse my late reply. No additional coding needed as all the 7 or so channels are programmed for. You can practically do the same thing I did by simply adding 2 toggle switches, yes. Cheers.
