The wealth in India is being growing, only to the top rich. The lower middle class is being pushed towards the poor class ( which already has 80 crore citizens who are under subsidised food grains programme). There is no scope for the majority of 90% of the population, irrespective of the growth of the economy. The growth, if at all anything is there, is just on paper, nothing for the citizens.
Don't blame the rich. Work towards opportunities for the poor. Expenses of the rich help the poor earn. I am an upper middle class, by the way. I grew up without two square meals a day in the 40s and 50s.
this is going to sound harsh - but in the next 10 years - the number of people in the middle class will grow but salaries will stay stagnant due to hypercompetition. the only way we break the cycle is to start businesses that sell to the world leveraging this cheap labor for next 10 years so that we can start actually becoming rich.
People outside our country appear far more optimistic our future then insiders. Why do we have to look at everything from BJP,Cong etc perspective
