Congratulations Matt! I talked to you as you walked in to the Ohio show and had just got off the phone with Stoeger. Well deserved!! Good luck on your southern swing.
I remember you. Good luck to you also
Just stopped by to say I killed my 1st one of the year down here in Alabama using your Signature Series mouth call. Sounded great apparently to him and the hen I angered to get him over to me. 😂😂😂. Thanks for doing these videos and all the advice.
Congratulations on the sponsorship! Hope we can all get a turkey or two this season.
I had my wife's M2 20 gauge drilled and taped, also. It can be done safely. Keep up the good work and be safe this season.
That's fantastic. Congratulations on the new sponsorship. I have both calibers. Love them..
I love how people think that they are experts telling you what to use for equipment. That soft cheek piece should make a big difference over the old stock. Congrats on the sponsorship!
Dale always been a fan! I know when it's getting that time because you start popping up on my UA-cam lol. I just got the m3500 a few weeks ago 28" barrel and spent the extra for the walnut stock. Have them send you one of those lol
Congrats on the new partnership with stoeger ! You deserve it! Cheers from a Canadian turkey hunter 🍻🇨🇦🦃👍
Stoeger needs to offer the 3020 drilled and tapped from the factory. I would buy one if they were.
Same here! You know they will offer it right after you buy one
Congratulations matt you've earned it.
Nice looking shotgun. I had to use my wife’s 20ga 870 turkey hunting once it worked fine, I still prefer my 10ga tho, helps keep me in shape
Goood luck in the south
It’s long overdue that you are getting attention from the big companies. You have dedicated yourself faithfully the last 4 years since I been subscribed and I’ve learned a ton and killed more gobblers because of your channel. You should have many more subscribers in my opinion. What you do is different and also needed. Glad to see you getting more sponsors . Keep it up Matt
Congratulations on the new sponsorship. I’m with you on the trigger. I like a clean and crisp break. Keep up the great work.
Great video. Have been using one for years now and really enjoying it. Especially for the price
If you ever head out west, holler at me! We got plenty of merriams and Rios. Only residents can draw for Goulds. Congratulations on your sponsorship!
I run a stoeger 12 ga m3000 ,love it .👍🏼👍🏼
Is that the same as shoot?
I've been thinking about a 20 guage for turkeys. I'll definitely check this one out. Thanks Matt.
It’s a good one you won’t be disappointed!!
Got my stoger 3020 last year. And never looked back. Mine likes the Carlson's ckoke 568 and herters size 8 turkey loads
I love my stoeger 3500
Congrats on your sponsorship with Stoeger. I may have to purchase a Stoeger in the near future. I love turkey guns:)
Hi Dale, love the look and new features of you’re gun. What Camo pattern is that gun and what barrel length do you have on that set up. Love you’re videos been following you for years. You do a great job educated turkey hunters.
I went with the Franchi just because it was drilled and tapped from the factory
No doubt a great gun, but just can't part with the ol faithful 870
I love my 3500 throws a heck of a turkey pattern, so much so during turkey season a red dot rides on it. Really want a 20 ga due to it being so light weight. My boys are at that age that they are ready for a 20 guage so I may have to wait on mine but I see 2 being bought here in the next few months if I can find them.
Congrats on the sponsorship, boss man! Keep bringing the awesome content, let us know how you like the gun at the end of the season.
Remington 11-87 supermagnum turkey on season 17.
I just about bought one last year may have to get a new one
The new one is a totally different gun in my opinion. Feels so much better.
Hey Dale ,
what was the picatinny rail that you mounted on that M3020: brand, length and where it was purchased? Thanks! Nice detailed video on the Stoeger. Have a 12ga M3000 & looking to switch to a M3020 20ga.
Great question! Was wondering the same thing…
Good gun.
If you like apex then you’ll love foxtrot ammo. Getcha some. Patterned better for me.
What restriction was the carlson choke you used
hows the new trigger? my older model has a super heavy trigger
Nice to see a sponsor on board that you already have experience with. Sorry about your eye, lol. I like regular scopes with diamond reticle as well. I bought a single shot .410 bore a few years back and love it. But it is designed specifically for the use of red dot which I am not a fan of. The scope was just too close to the hammer which made it unsafe to let down. Being a .410 it's also meant for 30 yards and in which is all I shoot anyway. I'll be testing out the red dot this weekend...we'll see. I had a 20 gauge many years ago as a slug gun. I agree that overall it is probably the best choice. Great balance of power, weight and maneuverability. I might have to check into it. We're still getting hammered with snow here. Good luck in GA.
Love the gun i just picked one up!! How’d ya get it tapped? Had a gunsmith tell me not to. Went with a Meadow Creek mount. What choke ya running?
They say the metal is to thin but that ain’t true. I’ve had a rail on all mine drilled and tapped and it’s never gave me an issue . My gunsmith said it’s not true that they can’t be. He’s drilled and tapped 410s lol. Don’t listen to that nonsense 🙄
The Choke being used is a Carlson 568 longbeard xr
They can be drilled and tapped for a rail, we do them at Ape Tactical Gunsmithing.
What choke was you using
Is it 24" or 26" barrel ?
Still plenty of time for hunters to get out and buy one.
Get rid of that rifle scope and get a Burris fast fire 3.
Lol heck no I hate red dots lol. But the fast fire is popular a lot of people like red dots.
What choke tube you using in the Stoeger?
Carlson 568 Longbeard XR
Hey Brother what Choke tubes do these shotguns use. Also what Brand / Constriction Choke were you using and what # TSS Shot were you using?
Carlson 568 longbeard XR
Apex ninja 8.5 shot tss
I think the stoagers run the beretta, Benelli chokes ! I just recently purchased a Benelli M2 for this year to run but have always ran stoagers the stoager turkey and 2000 and run Benelli/beretta chokes
I thought they went out of business
Does it come tapped for a scope?
No. But any qualified gun smith can do it. Some say don’t do it but I’ve done it for years and never had an issue.
Is the trigger pretty stiff on these?
Around 4 pounds.
ditch the Konus scope and go to a red dot ...you can think me later.
Been there done that. Don’t like red dots lol. But hey if they work for ya that’s all that matters. Thanks for watching 😊
@@daleoutdoors17 I understand ...good luck this spring and greatv content.
