In this workshop project I build custom trailers for Bulleit Bourbon that they will use in large liquor stores in and around the Kentucky area! They mimic the Woody trailer that Bulleit Bourbon often has at events. These custom trailer builds required a lot of problem solving because I had to develop a process of building the trailers by which I could make several of them in a short period of time! The CNC machine was pivotal in being able to make this workshop project happen in just three weeks time.

Really awesome to see how you adapt a design to maximise on form and function, reducing cost, yet absolutely no compromise to the cool aesthetic... thanks for another great build!!

Cool trick aligning the cut marks on the melamine (?) with the edge of the table and then routing it. Much less fuzz then cutting it on the saw.

What a wonderful project. Love how you were using the CNC so much. The little locking joint to make the plywood panels wider was really cool. Clever how you made the tires with the cartoonish tire tread. Congratulations. Very cool.

Another well executed Diresta project - loved watching the making and assembly of these tear drop campers. As always, an inspiration to MAKE! The idea pops into my head "if only I had a CNC..." and then I can literally hear you saying "Use what you have...and make it better the next time, just make don't wait brother!"

Holy Shnikeys! You built 5 of these in 3 weeks! Impressive! People who don't build stuff don't realize that when you build something from scratch the first time that there are all kinds of unforseen problems to be solved on the fly.

awesome jimmy, i just started listening to the making it podcast, around episode 60, though i never really comment since i dont feel like it contributes. i just want to say that you have been inspiring me for years starting with the circular saw bass guitar and the ak , they got me into guitar building which got me into woodworking as a whole(though i've broken guitars up until now) but still thanks man , you're awesome and you and your videos and stories(bob and david as wel) make me smile.
