Finally got hubby to put up our 4k cameras today they have been sitting in the box for months. Homebase 3 is so much better than the 2. It has improved the picture quality on our doorbell but not the delay. The picture quality on the cameras are just awesome on my phone and my echo show. As far as I am concerned this kit is worth every penny.
Around 740 pm there’s low sunlight which mean the indoor pan /tilt eufy camera that I will purchase really does not show unless we turn on a light inside can leave an light on all nite how can I go about this to still have visibility
Just bought 5 Eufy cameras and now a UA-cam "Flaw Eufy Camera." The rest button erases all clips with the pressing of that button and 18 months ago that Eufy said publicly that feature was not a bug but working as planned???
FYI I dont see Edge connection. But I was able to go to the settings of the indoor cam, tap general, storage, NAS and turn on RTSP Stream and connect to Homebase.
As someone pointed out, this is useless update. I had no problem recording videos locally in indoor cams. I can easily access it in Eufy app anyway. Saving the videos in HB3 doesn't make it any easier. So what is the point? I thought I was able to arm and disarm all indoor cams as a HB group. But I still can't. I don't know why you even mentioned the separate security setting at the beginning because this update did not change a thing about that.
I'm a bit confused. This video came out in April because of the compatibility update, yet on the Eufy site it says compatibility isn't coming until "Late 2023". Is there a further update coming that is going to allow us to operate all cams at once via HB3, set automations etc?
Great video, thanks. I have two of the pan and tilt cameras and I cannot figure out a way to get the schedule to work properly. Do I really have to buy yet another device to combine the camera’s functionality together and allow me to create modes? At the moment I’m having to manually arm and disarm the camera each time I go out or come back and on several occasions when I’ve come back and forgotten that the camera is armed, the siren sounds and it’s really annoying I think I might send these back to Amazon.
With some help from Eufy support (actually quite responsive :-) I was able to update my 5 x Indoor 2K Pan/Tilt cameras and then connect them to my Homebase3. This allowed me to eliminate the cloud connection and store all recording on my Homebase3 - so far so good. BUT then I discovered that these cameras does NOT appear alongside my 3 x S330 outdoor cameras as "real" belonging to Homebase3 - yes not what I expected. Next issue: I'm not able to record in 2K with my connection to Homebase3 (Support answered me that 2K recording is only possible with local storage in the cameras) - I have challenged the Eufy development team, as there should be no reason why they should only allow Full HD as my 3 x S330 can happily record in 4K to Homebase3 over the same WIFI. Time will tell if they will change that and if they will make the indoor cameras "real" Homebase3 citizens.

Looking forward to hearing if Home Base 3 will add more functionality. Especially keeping the native 2k resolution as you mentioned and one arm/disarm sequence. Surely they will add it as some point. I’m eagerly waiting before I buy the 4K cam and HB3 combo for EOFY sale. Pls keep us posted, thank youuuu

How hard can it be to properly integrate these cameras with the Homebase 3 like the outdoor cameras. Eufy disappoint me.
It's disappointing that in January 2024 they still haven't added those extra features you mentioned. Pairing it to the Homebase only gives you the storage, but nothing else. I hate having to manually disarm and rearm all those cameras individually.
yes all well and good but the video quality saved to the hombase 3 is only 1080p, this is becuse it uses your home wifi rather than Eufi hombase 3 network.
I have three solo cams which I have no intent of hooking to a home base because the things are overpriced for someone with my minimal amount of income these things don't seem to work with anything except Eufy's app proprietary app and their proprietary app will not recognize region on half of the Android devices I have if anyone knows of better app for these devices I'd appreciate it or if they know where I can get firmware for these devices that will allow me to use an open IP format because as of right now I'm having to carry around two phones just to keep an eye on my security cameras and it's a real pain in my butt
The 2-way conversation feature is not good. The user must hold down the talk button to speak. Some other camera models only need to press the talk button once to comfortably have a true two-way conversation. Eufy needs to improve this feature
Indoor pan and tilt should be able to recongnize faces and u should be able to turn the notifications off for them. Lets say a family member walks by… i dont want to be notified about that. None the less… it is available for the doorbell but its not like it works good ne ways. Homebase 3 kinda sucks. One of my two indoor pan and tilt cameras wont connect to edge connection. Eufy has no answer to any issues but we will pass it to our engineers. Accessing your events is painfully slow and half the time it says failed to load. Its not a great product at all. They have had alot of time to work out bugs.

So if the home base 3 is connected to Wi-Fi it won't record 24/7?

Should be able to re-pair them to the wifi, have you tired that. Remove from app and re-add them.
