As Luke sits in his Ibiza home when on a break from his latest Hollywood role, I hope he occasionally thinks of those bullies and smiles. Not in malice, but in victory.
Luke Evans is rightly enjoying the fruits of his hard work. He's a wonderful guy and a very talented actor and singer. I wish him all the luck in the world! 🙏❤
@@imaner76 ---- I can hardly wait to receive my signed copy of Luke's A Song For You! I ordered it as soon as it was allowed, and should also be getting a Christmas card with Luke's signature. It makes me happy to know that a voice like his is finally finding a much wider audience.
I’m glad that Luke Evans has become successful and loved by many; his discipline, hard work and determination has truly paid of dividends. It’s disheartening to hear that he was heavily bullied at school but he’s come out the other side a warmer, stronger, handsome, compassionate and beautiful soul! Well done Luke! You deserve all the success your career has to offer.
Luke absolutely radiates joy, kindness, talent: this speaks volumes about what a brilliant guy he is, from where he came from, to realising all he has inside of him. Presumably those bullys are stacking shelves at the local Spar, or selling second-hand cars!
Great talk with Luke. I'm from South Africa and he is such an inspiration. His openness is mind blowing and he is such a humble person. Wales is indeed beautiful and he is a true son of the soil of Wales. May he go from strenght to strenght. I loved watching his show in Wales with so many other celebrities. Thank you to his Mom and Dad raising this wonderful person and to saw his Grandfather in the audience of his show, was super special. 🎶💕🎶💕
I absolutely adore Luke Evens Welsh actors never seem to let it go to their head. Enjoyed this interview. I had family that immigrated to the Ronda valleys. I understand the bullying and so does my son it unfortunately comes back to the parents who teach their kids to bully others. Luke is proof of how to come out the other side. My son is currently at uni studying film.
Another lovely episode. Especially the audio version. You both have such soothing voices, and with that welsh accent as well it’s pure meditation. Hearing Luke talk about his childhood and his journey brought a small tear to my eye and a feeling of relief when he described coming to London. Much praise and best wishes to both.
Lovely interview, great people. Always enjoy your chats, Rob and Luke Evans is a sweetheart. He showed an impressive level of maturity in recognising, as a child, that the bullying was a period in his life that would pass and not let himself be defeated by words and actions of those less brave or talented than he. Heart warming and inspirational.
Luke Evans pretty much gets an automatic YES from me!!!! Simply because he is Welsh!!! I’m a fan of the Welsh because my BF is a son of Wales. He’s in Costa del Sol. 🥰 He’s the most proud, grounded, strong, passionate man I’ve met. The grit. The inner strength. Plus his icy blue eyes. Because of him I appreciate the Welsh Anthem and the Welsh history. I fell in love with Dylan Thomas because of my darling Richard. I loved that he is proud of being Welsh. Wherever he was, and he traveled a lot, he was always himself, Welsh, and owned that with dignity. I’m from California and we’re proud of the weather and the beaches. LOL. Not the same.
Knowing Aberbargoed as I do I am always impressed at Luke’s success because I imagine opportunities must be very limited. But he’s very good, great singer
What a lovely interview. Reminded me so much of my upbringing in the coal mining North-East, leaving school at 16, moving to London at 17 and going into theatre then television and film. Well Don, Rob! ❤
I had a hard childhood and much like Luke, I just knew I had to hit 18 and I was going to be okay. I love him and just really pull for him. (To be fair, he has done perfectly well without my well wishes so just a lot of continued success!)
I had the exact same mindset as Luke as a child. Mine wasn’t about being bullied at school but by my parents. I knew it wouldn’t last forever. It was hard at times and at some points I thought I was going to give up but I’m very lucky I made it through. Well done to him! 👏
Mass respect for this guy I didn't know how I felt about him in the beginning not going to lie the whole gay thing but he definitely definitely one my respect what is the acting abilities this dude could be a top guy eventually and he's doing pretty good movies
Luke, Jonathan Pryce, Olivia Colman, and Jessie Buckley?! Amazing talent - can't wait (& I love Scrooge stories, even if they don't include Albert Finney)!
I'm from The Midlands, the best place I've been too in England is Wales. Envious those living in Wales, so still surprised when people leave. However with our bad economy you go where work is. What a lovely interview, two charming men. Thank you for sharing Rob is one of favourite podcasters and love WILTY.
I was Bullied at School on the School Bus,by Two Twin Brothers,it was virtually everyday ,it badly Effected me ,they did Bugger all for my Mental Health,a Maths Teacher embarrassed me in Front of the Whole Class,I HATED Maths because of that Experience,I am now 51 ,when I look back at my School years, they were NOT ENJOYABLE AT ALL 😢☹️
@14:11 "I'm doing another movie which I'd love to talk to you about but I can't because its not been announced but its very very exciting for me to be in this role". Its a giveaway for Bond, right?
You and your videos are truly delightful and thoroughly enjoyable, Rob Brydon! But why handsome men, such as yourself, mar the attractiveness with unsightly facial hair, is a mystery to me.

🏴🏴 proud to be Welsh. Love that Rob Brydon did this interview with Luke Evans. Loved hearing the melodic welsh voices of these too ❤❤❤

I came here to convey a very similar message, saw yours and thought I'd join in with you. Well said that man.

Nothing wrong with shelf stacking of course. We all have to shop. But, yeah! He has so much to be proud of. Da iawn Luke!
I learned so much about Luke in this interview. He seems a lovely man, highly talented too.

Rondda
@@blodwen6946Oops sorry, it’s Rhondda. Rh is more breathy than a single R, and the DD is a hard sound, as the TH in the beginning of though.

Hes a triple threat acting singing and dancing. I love him
I like Luke, great actor, great interview.
Wonderful to hear him. A lovely guy. I did the same; I am gay and left school at 16 so many years ago. Thanks for an excellent interview.
I had a hard childhood and much like Luke, I just knew I had to hit 18 and I was going to be okay. I love him and just really pull for him. (To be fair, he has done perfectly well without my well wishes so just a lot of continued success!)
An absolute wee jewel of a suprise, cheers for uploading
Brilliant interview. Luke and Rob two of my most favourite Welsh men

How lovely Luke Evans is, genuine and grounded!! Loved listening to this interview Rob, it’s on my podcasts to listen to list!!
What an interesting gentleman. Luke Evans, you are a fabulous human being.
Talking of U2, The Edge's real name is David Howell Evans, who's parents are both Welsh.
So he is.
You are a inspiration MR.Evans ...
Luke Evans is a wonderful person and I very much liked all 10 episodes of Echo 3. I hope his bullies turn bright red!
Luke Evans, what a beautiful man both inwardly and outwardly
I love these two together

Could you interview Steve balsamo he's a Welsh singer too .and a humble guy .
Luke, Jonathan Pryce, Olivia Colman, and Jessie Buckley?! Amazing talent - can't wait (& I love Scrooge stories, even if they don't include Albert Finney)!
Great interview. He's an enjoyable actor to watch.
Going with a connection to Luke, I hope one day you can get Richard Armitage on here.
Great video lots of information about Luke

Bloody hope so...lol..might start watching them then
Super kuke❤❤
Two great beautiful men
Brilliant Actor .
Rob, I'm a fan of yours from Canada. One complaint - this podcast series is too short! You just get started and then you're done. Sadness.
Wait I thought the second Snow White did well??? LOL I certainly preferred it over the first to be honest!
If they ever make a biopic of Tom Jones, then Luke's the man.
Rob Brydon's quite good looking when David Mitchell isn't in the room
So funny as Gaston. The only thing that made the movie bearable.
Cracking! 😊
Never is he from Aberbargoed… wow! I’ve one parent from Argoed and one from Aberbargoed, I’m from Cefn Fforest. Smallest of all small worlds!
You and your videos are truly delightful and thoroughly enjoyable, Rob Brydon! But why handsome men, such as yourself, mar the attractiveness with unsightly facial hair, is a mystery to me.

Rob lets be honest, you are really talking "the taffia" . Don Hopkins......
Hope you've got Shakin' Stevens on your 'to do' list...

That's correct...Rhys Ifans......🙄 He should know being Welsh!
