i just bought one too but mine looks a little different then the one he has im guessing mine isnt sub compact because mines looks like it has a bit of a longer barrel im tryna figure out which one it is exactly but I know its a Mod 2 and i love how this baby shoot the 16 round mag too😮💨
Thank you for watching the video, as an avid shooter and taking life situations into mind (self defense) here is my take on it... either way with the xds it's a single stack mag so i would recommend the larger caliber for stopping power. With the added length at a4 inch barrel to my 3.3 inch barrel however slight difference you would have less recoil. Less rounds larger caliber, just my opinion. I hope this helps with your thoughts/ decision, if you have any questions regarding you can always ask, I'm happy to help. God bless and stay safe
Wish i could say which you would like better. Everyone is different, i would try to rent them to shoot them decide before you spend the money to not be happy. Good luck they are all great guns. Thank you for watching and the comment.
Enjoyed the review. I own the original XD-9 Service 4 inch, which is the same as the mod 2, except sights and grip. I changed the sights to Trijicon HD Night/Fiber Sights. You are correct they are smooth shooting, with minimal recoil, and muzzle flip. I was going to buy the Hellcat Pro, because its lighter to carry. I did notice the Hellcat Pro, had a bit more recoil. I also like the trigger better in the XD-9, did you feel the same way?
I agree, that's why i still have not purchased the Hellcat. I really enjoyed the mod 2 but my brother had sold it back to gun shop without me knowing and took a beating. I would have gladly given him more than the gun shop. Thank you for watching and the comment. God bless
Yes, I am old enough to have made that mistake before. Never sell a gun to a gun shop, always better just to keep it, or try selling it yourself through private party. @@medlensoutdoors
Thank you for that question, i have reached out to my brother to get you an answer but that was his and i was only doing a review comparison between the 3. Any fun so should be able to answer that question as well. Have a blessed holiday weekend and thank you for watching.

I’m looking into an XDS with the 4 inch barrel still deciding on caliber.

I have the 13 round mag for mine but it also used the 16 round mags for my service model even has a sleeve to make the mag fit flush
Nice, I have a hard time figuring out which one I wanna carry from day to day
