I grew up listening to Tool. I wasnt a huge fan of APC but they had a handful of songs I liked. I only liked a few Puscifer songs up until they released this album. I didn't like this album that much the first time I listened to it at work. I gave it another shot when I got home and I listened to it again while I was relaxing and I loved it. This album is amazing. Maynard has pretty much invented a new genre of music. I love watching the reaction of the crowd when they watch Puscifer perform this album live because it's the same reaction I had the first time I listened to it lol. You don't really know what to think of it then you start to feel it and you love it. You can tell that Maynard started getting serious about Puscifer and worked really hard on this album. At this point, I have to say, Maynard is the musical genius of my generation.
Maynard James Keenan is a fucking genius in every way. God I love Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle so much. Such a talented, unique musician. He's one in a billion.
For those wondering... yes, it's a reference to the character Beavis from "Beavis and Butthead". Anyone familiar with the show knows Beavis was a pyromaniac. Puscifer is known for combining a witty sense of humor with a look at the human condition. So now you know.
Lucky to have experienced this live last night @ the Orpheum Boston, Ma. last night. One of the highlights from the show. Very tight, crisp, and on point. The creativity and imagination is unparalleled. Aces.
Been a huge fan of Maynard since the Opiate days. Love everything he does but i really think having Carina Round and Mahsa Zaragan just completes all their songs. The 3 of them together is just pure bliss.
I love the all the different phrasing and time signature changes in this tune. .... seriously genius. Hats off to the bass player, your distorted synth tone is a monster in the heavier parts. This song is so reminiscent of some of the stuff Pink Floyd was doing, which I absolutely love.

I'm definitely starting to like puscifer more than apc and tool. So much going on with this group. No stone left unturned and they don't take themselves too seriously.
Love Maynard like most on this chat but don't forget all the talented other musicians he is working with in each group. All three have their own individual sound which makes it even more wicked. I want to buy some of his wine since he truly is midas like.
I mean it goes perfect with the song. Maynard is a genius. best music to listen too, Tool, APC,now Puscifer. hells yeah. wish Layne Staley didn't die, Alice in Chains and Mad Season my favs, sucks now Cornell died too. all better than Kurt cobaine. But Kurt gets more of the attention, it's dumb. I mean I like Nirvana and was a Nirvana fan , but Kurt ain't got nothing on Layne Staley and Chris Cornell.Scott weiland of stone temple pilots, now MJK is the best.
This song has been stuck in my head for days. Grew up listening to tool...when I heard this album by puscifer...i fell in love ❤️ apc is great too. Love it all
an unfinished incident...needing closure...the sound signature also reads...."why's it gotta be this"...and Beavis is a character type...personified in an animated character...
imagine a man whose made a choice...but as Lots wife did so does he...now waiting for the proof that his lamentation is heard in that high place...evidenced by the appearance of a luminous "watchman"...a lost sheep wearing the goats horns...wonders after that hopeful reappearing...to cast aside that crown willfully and woefully set ......indeed I hear a thing none hear...a compendium of James and his error....one he can't undo...but knows all to well the end of...and he watches the clock...and waits...for one to "reach him"...(the whole aim of his body of work...personal spiritual alchemy)...to pull him ..like he has pulled thousands...
When society and culture and just life general gets me all twisted and mixed up. I can always put on these people, turn off my phone, turn off my mind and just drift. To everyone involved, thanks for the moment of peace.
I had no other choice, Lír. "Choking on the ash from the bridges you've burned, Daddy didn't love you gotta burn it ALL DOWN..." Mommy, too. You said she didn't even want to know me? Was that how you always felt, or a well deserved cruelty at the end? Cruelty I can handle, the truth not so much...( but you knew that, didn't you?)
In 1993 tool graced the stage at lallopalooza years later perfect circle and pucifer graced the inter web ! Only if we knew then what we know now in 2019.sick beats is an all genre production co.
Daddy didn't love yeah gotta burn it all down. Why you gotta burn, gotta burn it all down? Not the better brother gotta burn it all down. Gets me very time.
"Your social skills resemble arson". Man the guy sure does know how to turn a phrase. Pop music is rife with la dee da and shibby do do wap gibberish and we've got lyrics like these that will languish in relative obscurity. 0h well probably wouldn't be as special if it were on the top 40.
I been feeling the same way. New and old friends alike seem to either just want something from me or are out to take something in my mind. It really does suck thinking this way. Like everyone is an enemy and i have to sever the strings connecting us, even though they are really just trying to shorten the distance between us.
I try to listen to other music but I always come back to Maynard
same here :)
Me Too...And do try...
Kendra Try Buckethead. Start with Celery, Coupon. I am just like you with Buckethead. All the best. Maynard is awesome!
Chris Weidner thanks for the recommendation I will check it out!!!
I completely understand.
This song has stuck in my mind for years
this album really thrummed a part of my soul that hasn't been awake in a long time.
I feel you. I just went through a pretty hard break up and this song hit the spot.
+Brian Walendy Your not alone on that one
No one likes me so I don't have to worry about breakups lol
Brian Walendy yes... 100
Brian Walendy conditions of my parole was that album for me

Whatever Maynard touches...it's GOLD...Tool, A Perfect Circle and now Puscifer!!
indeed
musical genius in tune
Maynard plays his role well, but it wouldn't be what it is without every little piece.
And now puscifer? you know puscifer has been around almost as long as apc right? lol You're right tho!
He ate a lot of LSD, that's why
Maynard James Keenan is a fucking genius in every way.
God I love Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle so much.
Such a talented, unique musician. He's one in a billion.
Tthat's two of us mate!
Alex Ander Now three. c;
And don't forget the wine!
He is damn powerful. But you are too. Don't forget that he is you on some level. And don't stop fighting.
There are way more than a billion people in this world. Nobody can touch Maynard. Period.
Puscifer bass tones are so delicious.
For those wondering... yes, it's a reference to the character Beavis from "Beavis and Butthead". Anyone familiar with the show knows Beavis was a pyromaniac. Puscifer is known for combining a witty sense of humor with a look at the human condition. So now you know.
+OneMeanArtist nailed it
I already knew but thank you
I think the question is, who's he comparing to beavis?
@@Apok_Alyptik it can be anyone who is dramatic and/or a douche, but the music video depicts President Trump so I'm going with that.
@@TheSilael wouldn't doubt it. I was hyped for trump but now hes turned into bush 2.0
This is a brilliant record.
Beat so sick you can make a beavis reference and its still hot.
Love you Maynard. Always listen to your stuff. I'm 60, will always rock to whatever band you're in. Thank you.
Goin to see APC the day before my birthday in Nashville. Best birthday ever. Super stoked. Maynard is God.
Must see PUSCIFER in concert again,....saw them last night WOW just WOW!!!!
Lucky to have experienced this live last night @ the Orpheum Boston, Ma. last night. One of the highlights from the show. Very tight, crisp, and on point. The creativity and imagination is unparalleled. Aces.
Cant get this one out of my head.. Much love to Paris..
This track brought the house down in San Diego last night. So much energy in that hall; it was electrifying... Would love to see them live again.

Never tire of these tunes

Holy Gods, my remote doesn't have enough "up" stages, and my system is no joke. Thank you Maynard. Keep on truckin. Please. By The Gods.
This song was amazing live!
I love the all the different phrasing and time signature changes in this tune. .... seriously genius. Hats off to the bass player, your distorted synth tone is a monster in the heavier parts. This song is so reminiscent of some of the stuff Pink Floyd was doing, which I absolutely love.

Marvelous
"Are you threatening me?! The mighty Cornholio will tolerate no such indignities!"
Beavis hahahahaha
I love how this must have been a bet to make a dramatic song about Beavis.
My daughter is Beavis lol, she kills relationships she doesn’t know how to just cool it a few.
I friggin love this band!!!! Why aren't more people listen to them????
This Tour Is Fucking Amazing.
Saw them in Detroit! Fucking unreal!!
First time ever hearing this song and first thing it gave me chills and made me start to cry

This album is solid. I love every song on it. 'Specially this and Grand Canyon.

Such a great comedic song...
To the contrary, I think it is more serious-natured.
Just happened to find this song by chance...WOW what a song!
been listening to this for about a year now, still love it. Love how he can add beavis in one of his songs and still be an amazing song. only MJK.!!!!

"Fire fire, shit's on fire."
I missed this one feels like this is the perfect time to listen I just did some 🔥
Going to see them in concert on the 25th for the Money Shot album, way excited!
oh, they're on fire of being liars. 'liar liar: pants on fire.' I proposed actor's rings in opal. poor Al. he's afraid he can't let us do that.
What?
hiding truth?
This song has been stuck in my head for days. Grew up listening to tool...when I heard this album by puscifer...i fell in love ❤️ apc is great too. Love it all
Ahora amo a Puscifer
an unfinished incident...needing closure...the sound signature also reads...."why's it gotta be this"...and Beavis is a character type...personified in an animated character...
it's a rhythmic amalgam saying both...hence a two edged sword...a twice strength proverbial message in a bottle...
I think you are hearing something I cannot.

Josey Wales I was just talking about the line: "why's it gotta be this". I don't think he says that, as you aver.
Josey Wales I want whatever he’s taking
Wish this song was longer
Huh, huh, huh, he said fire. 😁
This song is on an endless loop while I heal from a breakup with a narc.
Love this band and song.i can relate
When society and culture and just life general gets me all twisted and mixed up. I can always put on these people, turn off my phone, turn off my mind and just drift. To everyone involved, thanks for the moment of peace.
Perfect!
love this new song
God bless the Artists.
This song reminds me of Steven Wilson music... He and Maynard are two of the best artist since 90s
what's the matter Beavis
That quick b3 2 1melody on the word started is so hypnotic.
I LOVE IT!!!
Solid!!!!👊
Yes i agree
Jesus, this is so good
I'd love nothing more but our paths to cross !
Great song.
He's definitely saying Bevis!
I had no other choice, Lír.
"Choking on the ash from the bridges you've burned, Daddy didn't love you gotta burn it ALL DOWN..."
Mommy, too. You said she didn't even want to know me? Was that how you always felt, or a well deserved cruelty at the end? Cruelty I can handle, the truth not so much...( but you knew that, didn't you?)
Phenomenal
excellent!!!
daddy didn't love you gotta burn it all down(?)
This song describes my Sons mother to a T.
It’s actually scary for me when I listen to the lyrics. It’s like it was written for me...
FIRE,FIRE!!

This song targets me directly. Won't burn this bridge though.

Beavis sure do love his matches.
What's the matter bevis, fire, fire, oh shit.
Why am I alone? Recently I am realizing that my social skills resemble arson. ( I am NOT okay with this,...but it IS what it IS )
Be ok with it, sit with yourself for a bit. Itll all work out in the end and in the end theres nothing but broken pieces
I been feeling the same way. New and old friends alike seem to either just want something from me or are out to take something in my mind. It really does suck thinking this way. Like everyone is an enemy and i have to sever the strings connecting us, even though they are really just trying to shorten the distance between us.
Maynard is like the Hendrix of vocals can take a effortless song and make it great
Choke on the Ashes x,x
You sir are a fucking legend!!
My life story. Shit's on fire. Putting out fires. My house was on fire remorse is all I do.
