POCCA - Gau Community Voices

In looking to capture community voices on resilience and adaptation to the impacts of climate change, the POCCA team had a successful engagement with several villages in Gau Island, part of the Lomaiviti Group of islands, Fiji. These indigenous voices will now be part of the overall POCCA report, one of the projects key outcomes. The report is authored by researchers from across the Pacific. Dubbed as the Pacific’s IPCC, the report will look to influence policies and governance around the protection of Pacific Island communities and their resources.
