I’m not a massive fan of 2 characters in one kart coming back, but something I’d love to see come back is character exclusive special items, they are so cool and they give you reasons to play as a specific character other than their stats

The fact that the game is actually in development is enough for me to be excited. Given Mario kart 8 deluxe’s sales and nintendo I thought that nintendo would say Mario kart 8 deluxe is the Mario kart for the switch and we wouldn’t have a new Mario kart

Rant time!
Especially now after the Nintendo direct I just want to give everyone a
quick reminder that you shoud never, and I am talking NEVER listen to
rumors. If a "game analyst" says something is confirmed, then it's
pretty much guaranteed that it's not actually confirmed. Remember, this
is Nintendo we're talking about. This company would never inofficially
confirm something. That is just not how Nintendo does it. I really don't
understand how people can still fall for these rumors. It's litterally
the same thing every year.
So: Don't listen to rumors. It triggeres the hell out of me seeing
people blindly trusting them and then being disappointed because they
weren't real. Please keep this comment in mind as long as Nintendo
doesn't change any of their rumor and leak policies.
