I almost think it was a mercy killing. She did have severe Alzheimers disease. But I think he had some mental issues from all that coke he did back in the day or something.

Apart from them he also took steroids.

@Hapfletcher Is that what you call it? All he did was stand in the ring, put someone in a (fake) bear hug and that was it. The bigger, more muscular wrestlers are almost always non-athletic.

Could have been a mercy kiliing...they were married for years and apparently she had severe dementia...you ever been around someone with dementia that you love?? When they are cussing your name for no reason and don't even remember you...dont judge...plus he probably had CTE from years of entertaining us....not good for sure but sad just as much

He was also a great fisherman, the first big salmon I ever saw, was in his moms refrigerator, in her apartment on Sandy blvd. Sammy painted it, she was a super nice lady, she showed us picts from when she was in the circus. Best of luck to Billy Jack.
i heard he might have assisted her to suicide to relieve her ills from a health issue. it's too bad, he really seemed like a true good guy in the old wwf, always wanting to rep oregon back then. he had the words oregon sewn in the back of his tights, and wore yellow and green colors in his outfit. i'm sure he was proud whenever howard finkel announced he was from portland, oregon

Could have been a mercy killing..as she was apparently very sick..or could have been a murder, as he was a total weirdo with severe mental issues. When I first saw the headline, I didn’t know it was a current case, I thought it was a cold case, a body found somewhere.
He’s exactly the kind of guy you would expect the most - at least according to how his comrades have always - always..described him. He even admitted ludicrous acts that he claimed, he committed over the years. Being involved in “Boys on the Tracks” in the late 80s and such.
How sad, Mercy killing though, his wife was battle really bad EOL dementia and he has health troubles not being able to care for her
