With that said i did get a box from them for subwr cheap si ply because it was the EXACT cubic footing down to (-.02). I need to try their conpression drivers with some horns too cause they have quite a few options for CHEAP.
@austinporter4285 the skars arent bad , i liked them as well. But my search for the loudest and clearest ended with orion hcca . I stopped using bullets and compression tweeters about a year ago because everytime i listened to my stereo my ears would ring for a couple hours . So i went back with what i started using , peerless xt25 ring radiators. They are nowhere near as loud but it isnt worth getting tinnitus just to be heard from a long distance.
You are doing the lords work man. Not many places you can see tests of so many different models of speakers etc. Plus you can give feedback listening to them all at the same time in person. Valuable information.
It's a truly fantastic help, so important to the listening enjoyment of so many people. Bad tweeters - or a HF you just find uncomfortable - is a real pain. This is precisely what we all need to improve our hi-fi. Thank you so much dear sir.
It would help if you were playing them with a mid so we can tell how it blends. My ears aren't trained to listen to tweeters this way. They all hurt my ears.
No ones ears are trained to listen to tweeters this way; the designers certainly didn't intend it. It would be interesting to test these tweeters properly and see if they rate differently.
@@damoo9336 😄 glad it wasn't just me thinking that. I guess the reviewer may considered crossover issues but I would advise getting a cheap speaker like micca popping out the tweeter and try these replacements.

Skar VX200 6th from left, is a Chinese brandless tweeter that anyone can stick its brand on. In Thailand It is sold for $6 a piece but I bought nonbranded a pair for the same price. This tweeter can be easily dismantled and I filled the back chamber of the ring diaphragm with cotton. It got rid of 3khz resonance shouting and damped the ring. Once equalized, it became a fabulous 8 ohm 90db HIFI tweeter.
Extremely taxing for your ears to listen from start to finish at one go but still could pick up the massive clarity difference when we got to the first pioneer. Others had very minor differences between. Well done, thank you.
Try silk-dome but paper-cone (need "belt"-clothes hemming-tape to join the two disaggreeing materials. Due to the performance of paper, the diaphragm should be bigger than most other cone materials (sillicone for punch, rubber for bass reverb, aramid and kevlar for thick skin, ...) he is reviewing top selling brands that people actually buy , not the ''i gotta have everything match names'' brands . personally owning a bunch of those 3 brands they are not ''better'' than say pioneer or PRV , they all have different aspects that are good , but different . take the DD VO-B4 vs the pioneer , they both are loud , they both sound good , they both handle power are the DD worth over double the price ? not really unless you just want that DD name in ur build . crescendo ''if they are ever in stock'' are ok , nothing super special , they have some decent like the FT1 , the ones that come in component sets are poor , and when reviewed and left 2 stars the review was removed..... thats pretty sad a company hiding real reviews , they keep all the 5stars and you dont see them on ebay or amazon because people can leave legit reviews . seeing you mention sundown for tweeters ? the few they have are nothing above and beyond any other brands , sundown makes good speakers like the neo pro's but the tweeters are expensive for what you actually get , brands like audiopipe , audiotek , massive , rockvile , ect. compete with them, your paying for a name . out of the 3 DD has the better ones and they are just crazy high prices and are they really worth it when you compare other top shelf top $ brands ? also all 3 brands claim they have done tons of research and development but they haven't been around anywhere near as long as some of these other brands and the claims on paper dont reflect real world . brands you should be looking at would be like JBL /Selenium , Infinity , MTX , Pioneer , Dayton , TAD , Sony , SB acoustics , Scanspeak / NVX , morel , ect . many of these brands have been making tweeters longer than those 3 you listed have been in business . believe it or not but boss audio out sells all 3 of those brands combined in tweeters . 4 boss audio tw30 are like 40$ lol and they are not horrible . anyways you should open your mind up to the brands that have been around forever unless your all about having that certain name on something . top 100 on ebay and amazon not 1 of those 3 brands has a tweeter in the top 100.....

I have the pyle pdbt19 tweeters and they sound amazing only problem is if they are not tuned properly they can sound very harsh so in my equalizer I tend to turn the highs a bit lower but you can still hear everything amazing. In my opinion the best tweeter for the price
Either use a real cross over eq or change the bass capacitors to lower values.
@@josephnelson5006 I do run a proper crossover it's just that these tweeters are very good sounding at all times but if you dont tune them you're ears will ring as they can go very loud
so which playlist is this music from?
And what abt hertz St25 and st44??
Get some DD, Crescendo and Sundown
he is reviewing top selling brands that people actually buy , not the ''i gotta have everything match names'' brands . personally owning a bunch of those 3 brands they are not ''better'' than say pioneer or PRV , they all have different aspects that are good , but different . take the DD VO-B4 vs the pioneer , they both are loud , they both sound good , they both handle power are the DD worth over double the price ? not really unless you just want that DD name in ur build . crescendo ''if they are ever in stock'' are ok , nothing super special , they have some decent like the FT1 , the ones that come in component sets are poor , and when reviewed and left 2 stars the review was removed..... thats pretty sad a company hiding real reviews , they keep all the 5stars and you dont see them on ebay or amazon because people can leave legit reviews . seeing you mention sundown for tweeters ? the few they have are nothing above and beyond any other brands , sundown makes good speakers like the neo pro's but the tweeters are expensive for what you actually get , brands like audiopipe , audiotek , massive , rockvile , ect. compete with them, your paying for a name . out of the 3 DD has the better ones and they are just crazy high prices and are they really worth it when you compare other top shelf top $ brands ? also all 3 brands claim they have done tons of research and development but they haven't been around anywhere near as long as some of these other brands and the claims on paper dont reflect real world .
brands you should be looking at would be like JBL /Selenium , Infinity , MTX , Pioneer , Dayton , TAD , Sony , SB acoustics , Scanspeak / NVX , morel , ect . many of these brands have been making tweeters longer than those 3 you listed have been in business . believe it or not but boss audio out sells all 3 of those brands combined in tweeters . 4 boss audio tw30 are like 40$ lol and they are not horrible . anyways you should open your mind up to the brands that have been around forever unless your all about having that certain name on something .
top 100 on ebay and amazon not 1 of those 3 brands has a tweeter in the top 100.....
@@mazda2284 well said bro 👍
I like to see a realistic super tweeter one against all of those . I have one ad sounds bad ass
Those are increasingly difficult to source. They're also super good because they're made by Fostex.
why didn't you test the orion xtw950fd they are boss for 50 a piece
Get some of the Deaf Bonce T25-NEO’s in there! Those things scream!!
What are your thoughts on the jbl club750t tweeter
Newer test them
best vid ive seen in a long while, thank you helps alot!
Have you tried the JBL ST400?I love mine, have 3 pairs in my car. But I haven't compared to any other, except crescendos..
How were the crescendo's compared to the JBL?
@@TikTak83BaccW the crescendos are great. But the JBL takes a good amount of abuse. Talking getting that thing down to the 3k curve and still screaming nice. Only bad thing is that they're huge, and are 8 ohm. Crescendos are more practical since they're small. The st400s are 150 rms, and the crescendos are I believe 80? For a tweeter that's still a lot. But the way I can use the st400, I stuck with them even having to make pods for their big asses to fit
So which one Is the best?
Salve per avere il suono più cristallino devo mettere un condensatore quale mi consiglia da 3,3 uf oppure da 4,7 uf ? Grazie.
What's the name of beat or song on here?
