For breast cancer survivor Allie, the one man who kept her strong throughout her battle just so happened to be her UPS delivery driver, and fellow cancer survivor, Al. Allie and Al reveal how they formed their unlikely friendship in a conversation that brings Shannen Doherty to tears.

I can always tell when the regular drivers are out and send that message back like wasn't a good delivery. These are the true heros during this panorama

The "keep going" board is such an amazing idea! I was just diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, and I'll be having surgery in 3 weeks. Thankfully, it was caught early and I don't have to undergo chemo or radiation, but I know it'll still be a rough road. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story of hope and love!

I didn't expect any replies! Thank you for the love, thoughts, and prayers. It means so much to me! I am a single mom of 6 kids/step kids, and I'm so blessed to have my 2 youngest kids (14 & 18 yrs old) still at home and 1 adult stepdaughter living nearby. But knowing others out there care too is so uplifting!

It's caused by what they put in our food, in our water, in our clothes, in the air, in our teeth, in some vaccines, and through radio/micro/5G waves.

Sixteen rounds of chemo…. Jesus. I’ve never had cancer but I’ve only seen what chemo is like through Breaking Bad. I wouldn’t wish that shit on my worst enemy.

I am going through chemo alone at 36 years old, and this hits just right. I loved this so much. Just seeing the kindness of one simple thing as, asking how someone is doing. What a small gesture can make to someone. I love this.

There are so many people going through cancer alone ... or we don't talk about how it affected us. Maybe we are busy with kids or don't want to burden anyone. Thank you for talking about it . Sometimes I just need to let the emotion out and when I watch these segments it really is like a therapy . Holding in that cry because you don't want to go there. IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF AND MAKES ME QUESTION EVERYTHING WHEN THEY ARE ABLE TO SEND PEOPLE TO SPACE, CLONE SHEEP AND YET THEY CAN'T FIND A CURE FOR SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES.
OMG! I just thought I had cried all I could yesterday, during Shannen’s interview.... but Al & Allie! 💝
I know when I was recovering from a “rare” form of cancer that one of my friends had just died from & a friend’s husband had died from the year before, Shannen was posting her experience on fb. I wish to thank her sooooooooo much! She was the only one I had to relate to.
Going through a serious medical challenge can be a lonely, dark, desolate place in your headspace. I say that because even with that external support system, which very much matters and is crucial, your team of advocates can not infiltrate not accompany you into the regions of the brain to mentally process this pain. You are alone in that sense, coupled with dealing with treatment side effects. It can be a harrowing kind of experience.
FFS I cried through most of this. Where was the warning, Kelly?! 😩😭
As a cancer patient going through chemo for the last 2 years this struck a nerve (in a good way!) and shows just how positive energy and interactions have positive effects!! Whatever the turn in my circumstance I try to remain positive and hang on tight to hope and acceptance.

My mom just got through her breast cancer, she said the doctors called it sporadic cancer which isn't in the genes but acquired from her surroundings. She went in to have her gall bladder removed or whatever they do, they asked her the last time she had a mammogram and she told them 15 years and so they gave her one and that is how it was found

She seems so young. This disease gets scarier and scarier the more I learn about it. Is there ever going to be a cure? What is up with humans that so many of us are getting this?
If you look up the name “Lilly Bumpus” she was literally born with cancer. It’s so so scary. I’m a cancer survivor… and it’s so so terrible. No one deserves this journey. No one.
I have cancer, ( two kinds of thyca papillary and follicular) thyroid and breast cancer. I was told mine was genetic and from the pollution from the environment. ( thyroid cancer is caused by environmental factors).

My ex from high school’s little niece had Cancer, and I can't remember what type, but from the day I met her, she was in a neck brace, and still fighting her battle. I remember her Cancer getting worse, and whatever type it was, involved tumors up and down her spine. She, unfortunately, passed away at 3 years old, and I still remember going to the hospital to say goodbye like it was yesterday. I still have her initials and her favorite thing which was butterflies, in her favorite color blue, tattooed on my ankle. I'm someone, and for a multitude of reasons, but due to one reason in particular, who has lost a shockingly vast number of people throughout my life. It's so many that I stopped counting, and quite honestly, I've become relatively “numb” and desensitized to losing people. However, there is nothing quite like seeing such a young life go and experiencing that type of circumstance in a funeral setting.
It's all the chemicals we eat and use on a daily basis.
And I'm bawling right now!

Allie is amazing! She's as beautiful, positive, and vibrant as her artwork(which, btw, you should totally check out)! She's not inspirational because she has cancer. She's an inspirational woman who happens to currently have cancer. Soon, she'll just be back to being the healthy, dynamo with the smile that rivals Julia Roberts.
