I can tell You that this is not a good way to edit HTML files by splitting the tags between files for sure.

@@DailyTuition just leave within the index file. Splitting files is creating components and each of these should be self-contained.

You are missing the style file in the root of your project. Create style.css file in the root make sure the name is correct
