The short film Riders gave filmmakers the opportunity to discover every possibility with the DJI Zenmuse X7. From daytime aerial landscapes to low-light close-ups, it recorded vivid details and color, allowing the crew to swap from lens to lens quickly. Feeling like this is a better choice than my original plan to build an octo platform to hang a BMMC camera. The Autel Xstar Premium was good to start flying with and get used to seeing what I can do compositionally, but I feel like this is the future of aerial cinematography for the one man show. Gotta lay down the cash.

Lottero3 D850 is great, I like it, but it is not so great for me to upgrade my D750. DJI just released a new S35 camera, new mounting system, 4 new lenses, and new color system. Do you remember what's the last time for Nikon or Canon to release so many new things?

As a Colorist, and having struggled with matching drone and high end cam footage before, and given that the X7 requires use of unknown DJI lenses, I am skeptical for pro shoots. But, Stephen Nakamura chiming in with a rave about matching the Alexa gives me high hopes.
