Too bad, His Majesty realized too late, that instead of giving his people the right to have voice in state affairs, which he sincerely wanted to do, he yielded power to corrupt power-hungry traitorous oligarchy. As an absolute monarch, he was way more beneficial to his people, proving himself to be very caring king and effective administrator of state affairs. Alas.
I think so. He is about to give democracy to Thai people but still haven't finish writing the constitution. Suddenly some rebels those who have seen democracy in other countries seize the power before king Prajadhipok was ready. Anyway the king is kind enough to give them power for the least violence as possible. So the first prime ministers didn't come from election and their constitution looks so communism. So the king have many arguments with the government. Also soldiers who is loyal to the king was going to be execute. So he Abdicated. That is what I studied. If there are any mistakes, I apologize.
