Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an incredible game, however no game is without issues and in this video I will be going over the quality of life changes and updates we need to see in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, this includes new game plus, the ability to change the time of day and the symbiote tendril colors.

Sorry buddy but maybe you should look into the comics. That suit is actually canon to the lore of spiderman, Eddie Brock had it first and then Flash, Peter and Harry's bully from highschool 💯 there's nothing wrong with the tendrils. The symbiote even in the comics turned white after Eddie and flash were exposed to the light force provided by mr negative. 💯 Do your research
Yeah I would like them to be able to change between black and white, if they forgot that’s so weird.
The core problem is not symbiote color. Say it louder for those in the back. The issue is you're not able to change what symbiote you use for rage mode, which is what dictates your symbiote tendrils color. But more importantly, **It also dictates what symbiote you transform into in rage mode**. In other words, literally no symbiote will act like a true symbiote except for Anti Venom in postgame anyway (and Symbiote Suit at any point before Anti Venom) because it's not "set" to be your "actual" symbiote, so you'll always just shift to anti Venom when you "activate the suit" for rage mode.

I think it would be even better if they would add a option in the dpad (or in settings) where you can change the Symbiote color and completely customize it with any color you want

The thing with the black raimi suit is that in the movie he never had tendrils or black webs. He still used his organic webs so they kept it like that to stay true to the movie. However, I would like if they changed his parry from the legs to the symbiot tendrils to match

It only made Sam raimi Peter stronger and very very edgy
Also a small thing I miss is the character menus. It's just sometimes interesting to read about them and look at the models, especially for people who don't know much about the Marvel universe.
I think the rami suit is that way due to how it worked in it own story the webbing wasn’t black and it didn’t really do the tendril thing till it became venom so in a way it’s movie accurate also they already confirmed mission replay
Yeah I guess it's Movie accurate... unfortunately... This makes me realize that I really wish that we saw more of the suit powers in SM3. They kinda did it in the game but that's mostly it. And yeah he did seem more powerful with the Symbiote but that's it.

The problem is the spider legs. Seeing the robot legs on a symbiote suite is really off putting. Symbiote tendrils make more sense.
I might be alone here, but one thing i'd like to see is the ability to freely swap between black and white webs (not locked to specific outfits)

Yes, Spider Carnage needs to be a suit in this game. I would also like the ability to switch between normal New York and the Symbiote version in post game.

I think if Carnage is the main villain in the DLC, they will probably add the Spider-Carnage suit to that. They did release more suits with the DLC's in the first game so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that in this instance.

In regards to Peter's dialogue changing based on whether or not he has a symbiote suit on in bases, it does. I remember as soon as I got the black suit I went to a Hunter Blind and Peter had a call with Ganke. He was cold and gritty, saying 'Well you signed up for this Ganke'. That was the only case I remember the dialogue changed with side missions.

Yes but I think Voltex means we should have an option to change the dialogue post game, for immersion sake when you equip a Black Suit even after the main story is finished.

In all fairness the raimi black suit is accurate to how it was potrayed in the film cuz when u go back and look at his the symboite didn't affect peters web color in the movie. His webs were still coming out the same color as they were before so it is accurate to it's depiction

Four things I definitely want added is the opinion to change the parry animation for Peter to ether the symbiote tentacles or the iron arms and it would be great if they add a iron arms surge ability and would have the same gimic as the symbiote surge in where your attacks and abilitys are stronger and when wearing any symbiote suit some finishers should have Peter using the symbiotes power's and speaking of they need to fix the rammi symbiote suits jump and dash animation's.

The Raimi symbiote suit shooting white webs is actually movie accurate because the webs doesn't change the colour in the film. Since Tobey's Spider-Man has the organic webs unlike other versions, the symbiote didn't needed to shoot webs itself as Peter would never run out of webs. It only started shooting webs itself when it bonded with Eddie as he was a normal human being. But even though the symbiote never used it's tendrils in the movie, I'd prefer it over spider arms when used as an air boost mid swinging.
I feel it would make more sense if the symbiote made the webs black considering it bonds to the molecular level to its host. Maybe after wearing it longer than he did, they would've eventually became black in color.
@@chefboiardeeznutz9881 it would've made sense if Tobey's Spider-Man using web shooters where he'd run out of webs at times. But he's using organic webs. There's no logic how his organic webs would turn black themselves unless the symbiote shoots the webs itself.

Your mention of switching suits between symbiote and normal. That was a feature in Web of Shadows and I think it could definitely be implemented in this game. How this could be done is a having a menu to have 2 suits equipped and the up button press loads that other suit stored in memory. This would be cool to have with both Raimi and switch between both

It kinda already does that when you use surge, but it would definitely be cool to be able to cycle between symbiote and normal seamlessly with one button like web of shadows and spider man 3 game.
Or maybe one of the left or right arrow shortcuts could have a transform suit option
it wouldn’t be that easy unless if it didn’t also cycle over abilities and it was just the suit then it probably would be easier still alot of work for a small thing that isn’t really needed tbh
You hit the nail on the head! Equip a set of red/black suits and seamlessly switch between them with the press of a button like in WoS
I feel like making the symbiote color customizable with other types of colors you want is a good idea, & you can set it to the black symbiote if you'd like.
If they add 100 percent suit I could see them adding agent venom it’s already in the file plus it lets fans play as agent venom and keeps the mode and assets from going to waste
Also one update if they do dlc would be letting us play as venom more how would be up for debate but still it would be cool

Honestly, I'd love Agent Venom as either a Free Update suit and Spider Carnage as a 100% suit. Can even ad variants to both. Granted for Agent Venom, I'd honestly say copy the Classic Black suit variants since one is Anti-Venom and saves a suit slot for later.
That would be cool even if i prefer Agent Venom to be added in a next update while they patch stuff and you would unlock the suit after the cutscene where Harry loses it.

Yes I agree we need a color change of the symbiote that matches with the suit you’re wearing. Also we need the iron arms parry when not using the black/white suit or add an option to change in general. I like the iron arms when using superior suit or the iron spider outfits
It’s weird how the classic black suit gets black tendrils even if you’re in a state where you have no symbiote and have to use the arms but can’t get them once you get white tendrils. I also want it to be unlocked earlier. You most likely get it after losing the black suit. I got the superior suit before I got the symbiote and it made using the arms more fun for me. I think it should be the same with the classic black or other symbiote suits.

@@iVoltexYT if you’re doing new playthroughs fail the qte for escaping with Harry and Tombstone. I failed a bunch of them to see if anything happen and most of the time no. It’s weird to see Venom staring at Peter and Miles standing on him before they just punch him once while he watches.
the symbiote colours is a massive definite for me as well as new game plus i would like to see the spider arms counter on any of the outher spider man suits except the symbiote suits obviously really hope they can make these changes

I really hope they give us the ability to replay missions, the fact that they havent confirmed it worries me a bit. Some of the missions in the first game were so cool and i hate that we never got the option to go back and replay them

What I'll also say is something that they should actually do is make it to even when you complete the main campaign, you can use the venom suit along WITH it's powers. When you are doing the story, even if you wear the black suit, you'll still have to use Anti-Venom until the story ended. When the story ends, then you can use symbiotes freely/with the right color
Something that i would love to see from spiderman that i feel like should have been added is the ability for a multi person takedown..so when the specials are able to be executed..instead of doing onee takedown at a time we see peter or miles takedown like 2-3 people with a extended cinematic takedown.. something similar to the arkham games when you parry 2-3 people at once that are trying to attack you do a takedown that takes all 2-3 down

Another thing that came to my mind I would like to see in the future.is the ability to switch between miles and Peter in mid combat..let's just be honest since they are doing the switching characters thing there are a few things they could take from Arkham knight because I feel they executed PERFECTLY and would be dope to see with the spidermen

Honestly? Really good idea's. Personally, I'd love the symbiote colour change or using the symbiote webs with any suit you choose, and, most of all, I'd love to be able to change the city between the symbiote infested city and the regular city with all the random symbiote enemies, may or may not be done but I think it'd be a cool, and welcome, addition to even just post 100% on a save.

I really hate it when I see a crime and then when I get close to it, it suddenly disappears for no reason it’s pretty annoying especially since I was trying to level up so I can get the red and blue suit(no way home final swing suit)and also sometimes when I do car chase crimes the hunters blockade can disrupt the car chase and when you beat the hunters the criminals in the car don’t get out and is stuck which makes it so I can’t stop the car chase crime.
This video pretty much summarizes everything that I want from this game and honestly all of these topics are doable cause some of them already existed from previous installments.
5:49 I hope that in the future they can add the option that you mention in #11, it is really what I expected most in the game, changing to the symbiote suit whenever I wanted and at the same time its abilities will change, giving a very big impact to gameplay in combat, without having to go to the menu to do it manually.
I'm almost sure that many of the requests already mentioned in the video will end up being added to the game, but I see option 11 as very distant... we have to have hope.

I know there's a certain black screen 1 second loading when you select a Symbiote suit after wearing a normal one. But I think they could find some way aroudn this in order to make the "Up" to switch suits. That's literally one of the most important things missing from this game, especially for after finishing the story.
Let us choose a normal suit, then a Symbiote suit, the normal one has Spider Arms abilities and the symbiote uses the tendrills. Also they could give us some "web abilities" to substitute the spider arms or tendrils for people who want a more classic spiderman without using the spder arms.
I don't think it's that "hard of a thing" to be offered as DLC. Heck if you tell me pay 5-10 bucks for this feature, I'd gladly pay it. Hot-swapping suit, and have 8 abilities selected at once (divided by the two suits) and give us 4 web abilities. I'd be willing to pay for that.
I always thought the suit switch animation from the trailer would be the "loading mechanic" used in game to switch from Symbiote to Normal. I really wish that would be the case, but they can still make it work as DLC. And if not, hey maybe on PC we could get this with mods xD

I feel like there should be an option in settings where you can change the Symbiote move colors with a color slider, so you can change it to any tone or color to match whatever suit you’re wearing, like black or white, or red while wearing one of the redder suits or purple or yellow

Having a dedicated black and normal suit of your choosing and being able to switch between the two fluidly would be fun. Reminds me in Spider-man 3 where you can put the black suit on, but if you want to take it off you have to rip it off. Never played web of shadows so I don't really know how the black suit reacts there.
I want to mention something I wished was in the game and I know it most definitely won't come in a future update.
So I was hoping that once we get to the Symbiote Peter boss fight, we would be forced to choose a side and either fight Peter or Miles. I'm thinking of a mechanic that would take inspiration from Injustice 2 where we either side with Batman or Superman. I think it having to deal with Miles' venom powers would be a fun challenge and we would have to web up the bell like during the Kraven boss fight. I even have an idea on how the fight would end if you side with Peter.
Once you beat Miles, he would be badly injured and tries to appeal to Peter one more time while struggling to breathe. Peter then realizes what he's done and panics that he's become a monster. We then get the QTE where he rips of the symbiote suit and traps it in a container like in what we got.
I know this may be a bit too much to ask and might be pointless since Peter gets rid of the black suit whether he beats Miles or not, but I think a boss fight where you pick a side would've made the game more unique and would make Peter (plus the player) feels guilty for what they just did in the black suit.
That would be AMAZING! I was hoping the game would have an Infamous/Web of Shadows choice system just like that!
I really don't mind him having the Anti-Venom color post game, it makes sense as that is the suit he has. Ya I know some want the Venom black but just make those available to the black smybiote suits (Minus Rami suit as that Smybiote doesn't do what this one does) as a way to keep people happy
I also think if you're not wearing a symbiote suit just being a normal suit that your counter should be the spider arms until you go surge mode, but you should be able to choose what symbiote suit is equipped during rage mode

My personal list of things to add
- Bring back the selfie camera as an option in photo mode.
- Add in all of the suits that were in both the first game and MM.
- Give the option to change what Peter uses to parry attacks. There's no reason you can't swap the animation back to the spider arms as oppose to the tendrils.
I also like the idea of changing the color for each tendrils depending one which black suit like the Og Black suit for example like you showed is a good idea. The og black suit is the other suit that should have powers after the main story.
I hade the cube glitch as well it was funny and the tiny web wing were so funny to see they looked like angel wings
In the Miles game when you pressed L1 miles hands would get all electrified when you were about to use his powers and in the second game he doesn’t do that anymore its kinda nit picky but I miss that. Peter should get that too with the venom suit where his hands get all tendril like when you press L1 to use their powers. Also your powers in the menu should also just be in one big list and you should be able to put them on any button you want not be limited to certain powers on certain buttons.
One other thing they could add is being able to set favorite suits to look through instead of ALL of them… in that tab pressing triangle would be perfect since the button isn’t being used. Easy to do for both Spider Men🤷♂️
I was thinking about a symbiotized Manhattan as a Weather setting when finishing story mode. That would be nice😮💨
I also hope they put in the Sensational Spider-Man suit. Since it wasn't in the game. But they do have a spider bot so that is a little confusing.

I would also like a seamless transition from a red suit to a symbiote suit (using up on the d-pad) as it is unassigned, for example.

I would love if you could customize the colors of the spider arm things (can't remember the name) or at least if they could change colors to suit or match different suits more
Also in the epilogue you're forced to use the antivenom parry animation even if you're using the spider legs, hope they let you change that cuz it really takes me out while using some suits
When you use Anti Venom Strike and Punch with the Symbiote suit on, whenever an enemy gets webbed up because of those abilities, it shows the webbing gunk as black but the tendrils and the surge are not black.

Raimi's black suit should have regular webs, like it did in the film. But I agree about everything else. I also want purple, dark blue and anti-venom styles for the black and symbiote suit. And the ability to use them in the new game + during story missions.

I think it was easy in web of shadows to switch instantly with a button to symbiote suit cuz I don’t think there was any suit customization. But here they’d have to program it so that it can be the symbiote suit we choose which kinda sounds like a hassle but hopefully it works for them or they can at least try
I wish there was an option to change parrying animation in post game for example when I’m using superior Spider-Man I don’t want to see the symbiotic parry animation rather I want to see the robotic spider legs and it will go well with 5:48 as in if I’m using the symbiote mode I’ll parry with tendrils and if I’m using regular mode I’ll parry with robotic spider legs
Add an option to make Peter’s parry animation back to the spider arms parry.
1:38 quite strange that the raimi symbiote doesnt have black webbing. Its even considered a symbiote suit in terms of damage, because regular suits will have rips and tears after taking damage, but symbioate suits dont (including the raimi suit)
id love to see an option to switch the world back to "venom heal the world" state where its kinda like how it was over run by symbiotes and so forth that'd be cool to switch up the variations of crimes, regular city, to venom city.

Honestly, I do agree with most of these. Some of them I was thinking of myself throughout my playthrough.
The feedback I have probably can't be incorporated since it changes huge chunks of things and isn't exactly a quality of life change, but I'll just say that I hope they do more for Flint Marko in the next game or DLC. He had a great opening and intriguing dilemma, but the resolution was barely anything. The final mission is just a longer fight against the same enemies while breaking a crystal, he gets no justice, you don't get an impactful ending like you do for the Mysterium missions, and you don't even get a physical reward like a suit for doing all of it. He deserves better.
Yeah Flint was awesome, I like his character a lot and hope to see more of him too!
A feature I would love to see along side the weather & time of day change is being able to choose between Normal NY or Symbiote/Infected NY during free roam.

I think the Black Rami Suit goes both ways. It didn’t have black webbing in the movie so it’s fine if it doesn’t here, and it does act like a symbiote suit in the sense that it doesn’t take suit damage, just like all the other symbiote suits. The iron arms could go both ways though.

Sure but then at least make the Iron Arms black like Noir's so they at least somewhat resemble a Symbiote ability. It's just odd to have white spider arms come out of the Raimi Black Suit. About as it is to have white Symbiote tendrils come out of a Black Suit post-game. If they made the Iron Arms black like with the Noir suit, it probably wouldn't have bugged people that much. Or just do away with the iron arms completely for the Raimi Black Suit and give him instead that red aura that he had in the Spider-Man 3 video game. Idk if you know what I'm talking about. In the Spider-Man 3 video game, Symbiote Spider-Man had this power-up "rage mode" similar to the Symbiote Surge, where he'd have a red evil aura burn out of him, and his attack potency was tripled temporarily. Venom would later use that same aura in his boss fight, making him virtually invulnerable to your attacks, and requiring that you cause loud noises to get him out of that state. Point is, just add a red energy effect like Miles' effect for when boosting with the Raimi Suit. You don't even need to implement it in the Finishers, just add it for the air dash boosts and this way you make a meta reference and pay homage to the Spider-Man 3 game.

The arms should change on every suit IMO. I like the Anti-Ock suit but hated the fact the arms remained white on a black and yellow suit
@@InhabitantOfOddworld This. Or at least give us the option to change the arms' colors when and if you update the Symbiote colors. If I can't add Tendrils to the Raimi Black Suit and am forced to stick with the arms, let me make them black. Or like you said if I wanna use the Anti-Ock Suit, let me make the arms black so they fit with that suit
@@iVoltexYTit generally just feels like an armor that goes over the suit, because it can’t turn into normal clothing, it doesn’t have symbiote abilities, etc
When you do a web line in-between building and balance on it you can do a sling shot I just wish it was a sling shot boost and the bottom web stretches as you pull between the building kinda how miles did when Sand man Launched him
i hope they are gonna let us choose which symbiot suit to use when transforming. so maybe usually wearing advanced suit, and transforming into classic black suit when letting the symbiote out

I would love to see a suit builder mode where we can make our own suits! Also, full spidey suit mod compatibility if we can't make our own.
I want to reiterate: the usable mods will be purely for different suits, like the available mods for Battlefront 2.
btw the reason why the raimi black suit has white webs is because he has the webs that actually come out of his wrists

I agree with pretty much everything, venom rampage mode too, i also think they fumbled but not including the big time suit, they could’ve done some very cool suit variants for that outfit
also one thing i dont like abt the mcu suits is that the homecoming suit is referred to as the “upgraded classic suit” even though in remastered (and in general) its called the stark suit
i think the changing between symbiote and regular suit would be very possible, because it already does that when u do symbiote surge with a different suit on. it should be relatively simple they just combine that with miles camouflage

100% agree with raimi or at the very least an option that you can switch the symbiote webs on for all suits in settings or something

I agree on this I beat the game weeks ago and i got the black suit back but no classic venom powers and surge when I play the venom suit I have the black webs but the powers didn’t change color, same with the surge. I hope they add a patch to fix this issue in future updates.

tbh i think these all are some quality of life options that i would love to see come to the game the symbiyote color changes and all of that were my favorite also the peter b parker one to i just finished the atsv movie and i would love to see the suit again from spider-man ps4
One thing I really want is idk what to call it but after you get Max lvl the first game you can still gain XP and each over lvl gives you small bonuses I want THAT
What I would like to see is that while you have the black suit abilities you have extra finishers that are only available to the black suit and I would at least like to see that those finishers with the anti venom tendrils.
Spider-Carnage suit in TASM 2 was so good and would love to see it again in this game with red tendrils and webs
i want some other things.
1. all outfits from the first game
2. ability to change city aestetic. covered with sand, symbiote taken over and miles morales christmas (having miles saved data reward)
3. more crimes. i missed the crimes were a store window is broken and you can fight inside the store, or the one where there is a bomb...
4. optional chalanges to bases
5. new R3+L3 attack for peter. i love the symbiote surge, but i want a special attack that doesnt make me a symbiote, i want a attack for the spider arms playstyle. maybe a modified version of the first game R3+L3 attack
