We have to give honor to whom it's due and not spoil the name of those who really worked for the nation. This man really worked for Ghana. Almost all the social policies we benefit from today started with him. By the time he left, Ghana was a middle income country and we would have continued on the path of greatness if a competent leader had continued from where he left off. God continuously bless you H.E. Very smart man . But he's being too humble. It's like he doesnt even want to take credit for any steps he took to salvage the situation of the financial hardships the country was going through. Under you, children attended school freely, free maternal care, free food for pupils, free transport in metro mass for pupils, NHIS , Businesses were thriving, free maternal care, even started the national ID program but then the unfortunately your time was up. Ndc took over, couldnt continue national ID, NHIS collapsed, ended up cancelling allowances, etc. So why the fck is ndc even considered as a political party when all they do is to keep drawing us back, if not for foolish tribal politics and mind games. What did Mills and Mahama not do to Kufuor and his ministers? They arrested as many as 19 people from Kufuor’s government and prosecuted but none was found guilty. He tried to find out why Rawlings had problems with him, and used Otumfuor to mediate but it didn’t work. It was later Rawlings opened up that Kufuor had rejected $10million from Nelson Mandela as an appreciation for Ghana helping South Africa win apartheid. Kufuor denied rejecting it and I hope the part 2 of this convo, brings this issue up!

As said by one of their own,Frema Busia some years ago,there was no need taking Ghana to HPIC because then Rawlings had set the stage for a successful economic take off but Kuffour did that so they could steal the money which they did!
Secondly,the criteria for the HPIC money was that very poor communities were to receive a greater percentage in which case the northern regions would have been the larger beneficiaries but Kuffour decided to release the money based on population where Ashanti region received the largest.
Bawumia knew about the criteria at the time but kept mute while his people in the north were cheated!.
Rawlings’s beef with Kuffour was all about monies that went into individual pockets including Kuffour himself to the extent that he kuffour had to award himself a gold medal with State funds!
