One of the best response cars I've driven is a 2.0 tdi Skoda Octavia. Went like a rocket and stuck to the road like glue. I hear the VRS is an amazing traffic car

love you Ben ! im the same way with anxiety, when i have to go to the store to shop, i have to make a list and write down what isle the item is on and i have to stare at the list and just go get what i need an get out, i cant make eye contact or just look around at things or people, i get totally freaked out and do the same as you, sweating, feel like im going to pass out, i know the person checking you out is trying to be friendly an talk but i cant do it lol im just like please just check my stuff out and let me get to my car lol
Dog squad is the Gucci job as far as I'm concerned, but almost noone would agree with that.
Also we have the same problem with standardisation in the fire brigade, never mind that that someone in the middle of the city can probably get away with 500lt of water because they have good hydrants everywhere but us out in the middle of nowhere dont, well we had a 3500lt truck and now they have given us a 2000lt truck and told us it's just as good, well it isnt, nearly half of the water is missing silly twits, and they have replaced the water weight with a bunch of stuff the city boys wanted like 12,000 traffic cones with flashing lights on top, a bigger pump and hazmat gear that we don't need at all.
Hi Ben. What do you think about vauxhall insignias as traffic or beat cars? For me I would prefer the astra as a beat car because it is easier to maneuver in tight places and the insignias the vxr versions are fast and reliable and cheaper to repair instead of the volvos

Will be quite a few years ago but have definitely seen an unmarked black Golf as I witnessed it pull someone on Queensdrive Ossett and have recently in Wakefield seen a practically.brand new Leon Cupra R estate which had also pulled someone. Regarding Firearms if I was an officer that's a job I wouldn't want on my conscience , certainly a job I'd say no way .

Hi hope you are having a good day & I have a question & would be grateful for a answer from either you or if any other officers that watch your channel,,,( my son-in-law only past his test in December 22 then went & bought a car & we were having conversation about insurance & I mentioned that his insurance will be cheaper if he put a 2nd name driver on the insurance which brings me to the question his sister's husband is a local bobby & said he would be a good candidate to put on but I started the thinking with the amount of crashes that has to be done in the police cars does that effect the officers own private car insurance because of the high risk of being involved in a crash ??
They should implement a system with the police where the dispatcher uses their computer to drop a pin on a map of for example bradford and it will automatically update the satnav of the police car. No unnecessary communication and instant directions for that officer

I really think people underestimate the impacts of jobs on mental health. It's not just about stress but also about trauma and prolonged periods of time where people deem a certain amount of stress and mental anguish as 'normal'. I have spent the last 12 years suffering and struggling with severe anxiety, OCD, PTSD and panic attacks because of a workplace injury (a very small one that would have taken 1 30 min surgery and 2 weeks recover to fix) that took away 5 years of my life dealing with it. During that time my employer did all the wrong things and that alone has made day to day life a constant battle. I went through that when I was just 19 years old and the onus was put on me to be the one to know what to do to get myself help.
I think every employer should not only provide mental health services (which a lot do now) but also actively work those comping skills and things into day to day activities within the work place and have regular check ins with staff.
I’m so sorry you went through this, I completely agree with you though. I’ve found workplace employers to be the worst for any understanding of mental health. I have severe depression and anxiety. The anxiety plays havoc on my daily life, physically and mentally. The comments, the judgement and being almost patronised and treated differently all day everyday by workplace employers is more damaging than people realise. On top of comments from other professionals, even in the mental health system, it gets too much. These days, my struggles and mental health bring me a lot of shame. I hope you’re okay :)

Is it true that if you get pulled over by the police , if they have a defect on their car i.e a light bulb out etc they can't give you a ticket
No idea, but when I got pulled for speeding (only a few mph over the limit) in Coventry a few years ago, I didn't have the nerve to tell them they had a headlight out 🤣 I got off with a warning, though.
do you think firearms would be easier to get into with a military background
They act do a TV show where you Rob a bank and you need to get away called the Heist. You have to evade the police for a few days and make it to a RVP where you launder the money for clean cash it was a brilliant series.

HERES A QUESTION ID LIKE ANSWERED HONESTLY BEN. JUST HAD A LETTER THROUGH THE DOOR FOR NO SEATBELT AT 00:55 ON THE 11TH AUGUST 2023. LETTER DATED 02/10/23/ A WHOLE 52 DAYS LATER. WHO ON EARTH WAS OUT AT FIVE TO 1 IN THE MORNING CATCHING SPEEDERS AND NO SEATBELTERS. THIS IS UNSPORTMANSHIP OF THE POLICE AND I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS ACTUALLY VALID BEING 52 DAYS AFTER THE OFFENSE.
In 19 years of policing I’ve never known a letter being sent out for no seat belt, sounds like a jilly to me.
