I am a clinical therapist who specializes in major mental health disorders co-occurring with substance use disorders in adults and adolescents and to help clarify-Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT for short) is a treatment that involves sending an electric current through your brain. This causes a brief surge of electrical activity within your brain (also known as a seizure). This is used for major depressive/other major mental health conditions and is done completely safe within specialized clinics these days and has been MAJORLY helpful to come patients with trauma as well . EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is a form of psychotherapy) is a modality of talk therapy that utilizes lights, vibrations, and sessions focused on relieving deep traumas and is a very rare specialized treatment that of course is super helpful-if you have the coverage via insurance in the US. Sorry to be a total know it all, but hope this helped!
As an architect, we really should bring back kit homes. MOST new home builds in the 70s were kit homes and prefab home communities. That’s why it was so affordable to have a home. 😅 Prefab homes these days are either crappy designs OR they’re like a standard home but are charging luxury prices

It is typically a bilateral eye movement…but can also be any bilateral movement such as tapping, vibrations, etc. This is just a therapeutic approach to help reprocess trauma. However, there is an electric shock therapy to help with depression & it does not hurt! (ECT Therapy) sometimes you can be put to sleep before having it done. This is also not done very often

Indiana resident here, and the law used to be NO sale of alcohol at a store on Sundays. But you could go to a restaurant/bar and drink. But now you are able to buy alcohol at a store just between 12pm-8pm though.
i’m from arkansas - we can’t buy alcohol AT ALL on sundays, no matter the time, at any store: walmart, target, liquor stores, anywhere… but we can go to a bar in a restaurant on sundays, just no stores are allowed to sell it
bars are legalized differently! Some restaurants that sell liquor/beer make you buy food in order to order before 12! No liquor stores/gas stations can sell before 12!

Would you recommend ECT for a person with BD, BPD, CPTSD, MDD, and/or ASD?
@nadia_here sounds like people just through a bunch of diagnosis at you instead of nailing down an accurate diagnosis.
@@archaedia I know, 6 years of trying to get someone to understand what I need to treat.. I don't think ECT is covered by most insurances
